Vladimir Putin is no friend of the United States. We’ve known that for a long time now.
And a terrifying Putin scheme in Iran was exposed by this Republican senator.
Florida Senator Rick Scott cut straight through the noise during his appearance on CNN News Central this week. He laid out exactly why Americans should never trust the words coming out of Moscow or Tehran.
With Iranian missiles flying and U.S. forces in the line of fire, Scott made clear that Vladimir Putin is actively feeding intelligence to the mullahs.
“I believe that Putin’s helping Iran. Putin hates our guts. He’s not a friend to the United States. So, you have to assume that he’s doing it. And he’s a complete liar,” the senator stated.
Kate Bolduan asked the obvious follow-up: Do any of these Iranian strikes trace back to Russian targeting data?
“Well, first of all, I believe that Putin’s helping Iran. Putin hates our guts. He’s not a friend to the United States. So, you have to assume that he’s doing it. And he’s a complete liar. So, I assume he is doing it, and I assume he’s going to do everything he can to help destroy Americans and our way of life, right,” Scott said.
He then named the full list of countries that want to see the American experiment fail.
“We have enemies. The government of China is an enemy, Russia is an enemy, North Korea, Iran, they’re enemies.”
These regimes do not lose sleep over American prosperity or American safety.
“They are not going to do anything to help us,” the senator continued.
“So, we can either sit here and appease them, or we can say, listen, you’re not going to do it to American citizens. This president is doing the right thing to protect American lives.”
President Trump has repeatedly said he has no appetite for forever wars or boots on the ground in Iran. He wants the job done, the threat eliminated, and our people brought home safe.
Senator Scott just reminded the country what real leadership sounds like: no excuses, no weakness, and zero tolerance for anyone who tries to harm our people.
That’s the message the heartland has been waiting to hear. And under this administration, it is finally being delivered.
