Chuck Schumer had no idea what he was doing when he threatened the Supreme Court Justices. It set a bad precedent.
And the U.S. Supreme Court just received a warning that’s causing total chaos to ensue.
The Biden admin isn’t even trying to hide the fact that they are going after their political enemies in every way they can.
The DOJ under Biden’s “leadership” has been politically attacking everyone from former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence to innocent pro-life advocates.
The crime that everyone being targeted by the Biden administration has in common is that they maintain some form of conservative values and are a threat to the radical Left’s dystopian future.
Even though Mike Pence has in some ways fallen out of grace with many Trump supporters and conservatives, he’s still a symbol of everything the new Democrat Party hates. As such, he’s being slapped with investigation after investigation and subpoena after subpoena.
Recently, Mike Pence commented on the subpoena from the DOJ for him to appear before a grand jury over the 2020 election and whether he tried to illegally overturn the results.
Of course, Mike Pence did no such thing. In fact, Donald Trump and his supporters criticized Pence for not sticking to his guns in being willing to question the validity of the ballot casting in the 2020 election.
But, as we’ve established, Pence is still a vestige of the Trump admin that the Leftists never want to see happen again. So they will go out of their way with legal attacks to ensure it never does.
Mike Pence argues that the DOJ’s subpoena is “unconstitutional” and “unprecedented,” saying that he will fight it every step of the way.
He also warns the Supreme Court and the Biden administration that he will bring it before the Highest Court in the land if he has to.
“Let me clear: I am going to fight the Biden DOJ subpoena to appear before the grand jury because I think it’s unprecedented and it’s unconstitutional,'” Pence said to the media.
He went on to say that he is “prepared to take this fight into the court and, if needs be, take it to the Supreme Court of the United States.”
Mike Pence sounds pretty clear that he won’t just let the Biden DOJ get away with trying to paint this picture of anyone tied to the Biden administration being insurrectionist thugs, which is what Biden and the Democrats would have you believe.
And should it be brought to the Supreme Court, you can be sure that the new conservative majority will be putting the Biden DOJ’s claims under intense scrutiny, as it’s been clear their jurisprudence has been way more conservative than the Court has seen from conservative Justices in years past.
Though, there is a well-founded concern that the U.S. Supreme Court is being turned into an arm of the government to hand out political wins rather than to uphold the rule of law.
Typically, the Leftists have been guilty of this the most, especially over the past few decades.
They wanted the Supreme Court to be their legislators from the bench. Just consider how they sought the Court to uphold awful legal arguments like Roe v. Wade just because it benefitted them politically.
But Republicans can be guilty of this too. And Mike Pence is toeing the line with these calls to potentially bring it to the Supreme Court before the preliminary results are even in.
Pence insisted however that he has nothing to hide and looks to be exonerated of these claims that he somehow tried to start an insurrection back in 2020. He said he ultimately wants to see the U.S. Constitution upheld.
“I have nothing to hide, and I’m proud of what we accomplished. But for me, this is a moment where you have to decide where you stand and I stand on the Constitution of the United States,” he said.
One thing is very clear, and that’s the fact that the Biden DOJ has become ruthless with it’s investigative and legal attacks on just about anyone who threatens their political power in Washington D.C.
