As now a U.S. congresswoman’s life has been threatened by a psychopathic attacker.
Former GOP Candidate Charged with Threatening to K*ll Rep. Anna Paulina Luna
William Robert Braddock III, a former Republican primary opponent of Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, faces serious charges for allegedly threatening to k*ll her during the 2021 election for Florida’s 13th Congressional District. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the charges in a press statement after unsealing the indictment against Braddock on Friday.
The indictment accuses the 41-year-old of making threats against two individuals — a candidate in the 2021 primary election and a second victim described as a “private citizen and acquaintance” of the candidate. While the indictment does not explicitly name Luna or the second victim, Luna was Braddock’s opponent in that election.
According to authorities, Braddock made multiple threats on June 8, 2021. He allegedly threatened to injure and k*ll Luna and the second individual during a phone call. The DOJ’s press release stated, “On June 8, 2021, Braddock made several threats to injure and k*ll Victim 1 and Victim 2 during a telephone call with Victim 2. Specifically, Braddock threatened, in part, to ‘call up my Russian-Ukrainian hit squad’ and make Victim 1 disappear.”
Braddock fled the U.S. after making these threats and was later located in the Philippines. He was deported back to the United States and made his first court appearance in Los Angeles, California.
The threats are linked to the 2021 primary race for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, which opened up after former Democratic Rep. Charlie Crist chose not to seek re-election. According to Politico, conservative activist Erin Olszewski recorded a phone call in which Braddock warned her not to support Luna, claiming access to assassins.
“I really don’t want to have to end anybody’s life for the good of the people of the United States of America,” Braddock reportedly said during the call. “That will break my heart. But if it needs to be done, it needs to be done. Luna is a f**king speed bump in the road. She’s a dead squirrel you run over every day when you leave the neighborhood.”

Following the threats, a Florida judge granted a temporary restraining order to Luna and Olszewski, leading Braddock to withdraw from the race shortly after, according to NBC News.
Braddock now faces one count of interstate transmission of a true threat to injure another person, a charge that carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison if convicted, per the DOJ’s report.

It seems like everytime you turn on the news there’s a new report about someone trying to harm a candidate or a politician in office. Donald Trump himself just survived two close calls from assassination attempts, with one of them just inches away from being successful.
Since then, those on the Left have largely just been blaming Donald Trump for the attempts on his own life. There’s been little remorse for the fact that there’s clearly a large group of people who have been radicalized into believing that Donald Trump needs to be literally taken out of the race by force.
Hillary Clinton has been claiming that the press has not been harsh enough in their demonization of Donald Trump, recently saying that the press needs a “consistent narrative about the danger Trump is.” It’s not hard to see how this type of rhetoric turns into attempts on Trump’s life.

As we can see, it’s not just Donald Trump either who are possible victims. It’s also anyone who dares to align themselves with anti-establishment figures like Donald Trump, like Anna Paulina Luna. There have been attacks on U.S. Senator Rand Paul’s life as well as on the lives of his staff members. Again, he’s one of the few sitting U.S. Senators who won’t just play along to get along.
There seems to be a strong correlation between being aligned with anti-establishment ideas and figures and being a target for politically-motivated attacks.
