The Democrat playbook has been leaked. And they may never recover.
Because this leading Leftist handed Trump a major victory by saying the quiet part out loud.
Radio host Charlamagne tha God didn’t hold back his thoughts on President Joe Biden’s seemingly friendly meeting with President-elect Donald Trump at the White House this week.
On his Thursday morning show, Charlamagne admitted he was baffled by the stark contrast between Biden’s past rhetoric about Trump and the warmth displayed during their meeting.
Reflecting on the event, Charlamagne noted how Biden, along with other Democrats and much of the media, had spent months branding Trump as a “fascist” or likening him to Adolf Hitler.
Now, after Trump’s victory, Biden seemed to pivot effortlessly, going from describing Trump as an “existential threat” to welcoming him to the White House with a smile.
“I just don’t understand the White House visit,” Charlamagne said.
“Granted, I’m glad there’s a peaceful transition of power, but what happened to the threat of democracy talk? What happened to the fascist talk?”
He continued:
“By the way, I know I’ve said those things about Trump as well. But I’m not talking about me. I’m talking about his political opponents like President Biden. When they say it, it holds way more weight than me. I’m just trying to figure out, how do you go from ‘He’s an existential threat to democracy’ to ‘Welcome back’?”

Charlamagne’s cohost DJ Envy chimed in, pointing out how Biden appeared genuinely pleased during the meeting, even “cheesing” for the cameras.
Charlamagne acknowledged that Biden likely sees himself as a defender of political “norms,” but he still struggled to reconcile the shift.
Eventually, he threw up his hands and quipped, “I’m gonna stop minding white people’s business.”
This wasn’t the first time Charlamagne had expressed skepticism about the Democrats’ messaging shift.
Last Friday, he questioned why prominent Democrats had suddenly stopped labeling Trump a “threat to democracy” after his win.
“Don’t y’all find it strange that now that he’s won, they’re not calling him a threat to democracy? They’re not calling him a fascist. I mean, d*mn, on Monday, they was just calling him that,” he remarked.
“I would think that, you know, if you really believe that, then somebody’s speech would be about how America ‘effed up and how things are about to be really bad. It just makes you wonder how much of it did they really believe, or how much of it was just politics. That’s all.”
Charlamagne’s candid reflections highlighted a frustration felt by many who wonder if the Democratic Party’s dramatic rhetoric was ever genuine — or merely a tool for political gain.
As Biden and Trump prepare for the transition, Charlamagne’s commentary serves as a reminder of the skepticism surrounding political theatrics in Washington.
