President Trump receives high honor that has the White House buzzing

Trump is racking up the accolades. They just won’t stop coming his way.

And President Trump receives a high honor that has the White House buzzing.

The Kennedy Center board has given a unanimous thumbs-up to renaming the iconic performing arts venue. According to The Daily Wire, the center is now on track to become The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center For The Performing Arts. This isn’t just a name tweak—it’s a statement that real American leadership is back in charge.

President Trump, fresh into his second term, has been dropping hints about shaking up this D.C. staple. He’s turned the spotlight on the center, calling out its drift into leftist nonsense. The exact timeline for making this official remains up in the air.

This isn’t the first swing at reclaiming the venue for true patriots. Back in July, Missouri’s own GOP firebrand, Rep. Bob Onder, rolled out the “Make Entertainment Great Again” Act. His bill aimed to slap Donald J. Trump’s name across the entire complex.

Not long after, the House Appropriations Committee jumped on board with an amendment to honor First Lady Melania Trump. They voted to rename the main Opera House in her name, a classy nod to her grace and style.

But not everyone’s thrilled. President Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, is throwing a fit over the change. The 32-year-old took to Instagram to whine about a 1983 federal law that’s supposedly in the way.

Schlossberg pointed to the statute, which reads:

“There is established in the Smithsonian Institution a bureau, which shall be directed by a board to be known as the Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (hereafter in this subchapter referred to as the ‘Board’), whose duty it shall be to maintain and administer the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and site thereof as the National Center for the Performing Arts, a living memorial to John Fitzgerald Kennedy … the Board shall assure that after December 2, 1983, no additional memorials or plaques in the nature of memorials shall be designated or installed in the public areas of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.”

Schlossberg blasted out on Instagram: “Plain reading of the statute makes clear — YOU CAN’T DO THAT.” And added, “Law prohibits renaming Kennedy Center.”

Trump isn’t one to let outdated rules stand in his way. Early in 2025, he cleaned house by ousting the old Board of Trustees.

In a power move, he appointed himself as Chairman and brought in Richard Grenell as interim executive director.

The president made it clear what his vision for the center would be. He declared, “NO MORE DRAG SHOWS, OR OTHER ANTI-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA.”

Grenell echoed that sentiment: “Corporations don’t want to fund an all-lesbian cast of Othello.”

This rename pushes back against decades of liberal control over America’s arts scene. The Kennedy Center, once a symbol of establishment pomp, now gets a dose of Trump-era energy to make it great again.

Everyday Americans see this as a victory for draining the swamp and putting patriots first.

With Trump at the helm, expect more changes that prioritize family values and national pride over trendy activism. The performing arts should inspire, not indoctrinate.

As details emerge on the official rollout, one thing’s clear: this shared memorial honors two presidents while steering the center toward a brighter, more American future.

Trump’s influence is reshaping the nation’s capital, one iconic building at a time.
