But the Fake News Media’s pants are on fire after being caught in this huge lie.
When the news came out that the Nashville, Tennessee shooter was transgender, it immediately put the entire radical Left on the defensive.
Instead of caring about the fact that Christians were targeting, it became about how the transgender community was facing “persecution” because the shooter identified as transgender.
The optics of a transgender committing a hate crime against Christians are so bad that the media has largely tried to ignore the fact Audrey Hale was transgender at all.
Outlets like CNN and MSNBC are literally avoiding the use of pronouns at all in their articles about her because they are worried about the pushback.
If they refer to Audrey Hale as a “her,” these Leftist media outlets will be guilty of “misgendering” Hale in the yes of the radical Left.
But if they refer to Audrey Hale as a “he,” they’ll be viewed as trying to dignify a monster who took the lives of six people.
One network in particular has been caught red-handed in a massive lie, however.
According to reports circulating online, executives at CBS News have told the network employees to not refer to Audrey Hale as transgender at all.
The New York Post writes:
Top executives at CBS News have banned staffers from using the word “transgender” when reporting on the Nashville shooter — despite the fact that police have said Audrey Hale was just that and cited it as a key point in the case, The Post has learned.
According to the memo that The New York Post got a copy of, CBS says that the “shooter’s gender identity has not been confirmed” and that therefore they should “avoid any mention of it.”
Apparently CBS instead recommends that they just say Audrey Hale’s name and avoid any gender identification at all.
“Right now we advise saying: POLICE IDENTIFIED THE SUSPECT AS A 28-YEAR-OLD AUDREY HALE, WHO [sic] THEY SHOT AND KILLED AT THE SCENE,” the memo allegedly reads.
Then the reporters are supposed to just “move on” to other “important points of the investigation.”
It’s odd that CBS says they don’t have any information about the gender identity of Audrey Hale because the Nashville Police Chief John Drake outright said that Hale was transgender.
He even said it might be a part of figuring out her motive behind the violent attack.
The New York Post was told by a CBS spokeswoman that the network is just waiting to see the manifesto that was left by Audrey Hale before they comment any further on the gender identity of Hale.
The truth here is that CBS is just trying to avoid sharing the fact that Hale was transgender because of how bad the optics are for the Left’s narrative.
They are hoping this all goes away in time and that they can just play the middle like a fiddle so they don’t get in trouble with anyone.
Everyone can see right through CBS’ games and their lack of journalistic integrity.
