The ladies of The View have done it again. They’ve managed to humiliate themselves for the world to see.
And The View hosts had a meltdown live on air over comments made by a leading Trump official.
In a display of out-of-touch elitism, the hosts of ABC’s The View spent their Tuesday show scratching their heads over why America’s military leaders should actually be fit and ready to fight. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is shaking things up, and these ladies can’t handle it.
Hegseth called an unprecedented in-person gathering at Quantico, pulling in hundreds of the military’s top officers for a no-nonsense talk. He laid down the law on physical standards, and the reaction from the left-wing talk show crew was pure comedy gold.
Joy Behar kicked off the whining, calling Hegseth’s ideas a “very retro vision for our armed forces.” She also wanted to know why Hegseth was “obsessed with fat?”

Sunny Hostin jumped in right after, adding, “And fitness?”
Alyssa Farah Griffin tried to play defense for the status quo, insisting the military is already tip-top. She ignored the cold hard facts showing over two-thirds of active-duty troops are overweight, with 22% hitting obese levels.
Griffin doubled down, saying, “I’m very lost on the fact that it seems like it’s become a Republican Party position out of nowhere that the U.S. Military is weak. We’re the greatest fighting force in the history of mankind.”
She even took a cheap shot, suggesting Hegseth bashes generals like ex-Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley just to boost his own ego about his service record.
Faux conservative Alyssa Farah Griffin is confused why Hegseth and Republicans want the US military be physically fit and ready to go to war if the need was required:

Sara Haines chimed in with her own dose of misinformation, claiming a “recruiting lull” even as every branch reports smashing recruitment records. She fretted over the so-called security risks of holding the meeting face-to-face.
Haines kept complaining about the expense of flying in the brass, only for Hegseth to supposedly order them to shave and restart “hazing” new recruits.
Hostin admitted she was “befuddled” by the push to ramp up physical requirements and griped about bringing back stricter rules.
She wondered aloud, “I don’t understand how that was supposed to be an uplifting message for our military.”
Behar couldn’t resist circling back to her favorite target, President Trump. She ranted, “If you guys think we can survive another 3 1/2 years of this, I think you’re delusional … every day this guy is undoing something in this country that we value.”
Meanwhile, Hegseth delivered a straightforward message that real Americans can get behind: Every soldier, from fresh privates to the highest-ranking generals, must hit those height and weight targets and ace their PT tests regularly.
He put an end to excuses, declaring that “fat troops” in the ranks and “fat generals at the Pentagon” are history. No more slacking – “It’s a bad look.”
This whole episode exposes how disconnected these Hollywood liberals are from the real world, where strength and readiness keep the nation safe from threats abroad. Hegseth is restoring pride in U.S. forces, and that’s exactly what patriots have been demanding.
