The political environment was upended by the revelation that Joe Biden brought home secret documents while serving as a senator and vice president.
The majority of Americans, including Tucker Carlson, thought that Biden is solely to blame for this crime.
The truth is that Joe Biden took secret materials home throughout the years and stored them in a garage, a private office, and possibly other locations.
The FBI conducted a SWAT-style raid at President Donald Trump’s personal Florida residence after reports surfaced that he may have secret documents there.
The FBI waited months before conducting a “soft search” after Joe Biden acknowledged stealing sensitive information from his house.
The news of Biden’s document leak completely halted discussion of the deadly border issue.
Carlson believes he understands the reason.
As Carlson stated, the sensitive documents are solely Biden’s fault.
“He didn’t have help in doing that, but allowing the country to be invaded, that’s not something you can do by yourself. So, if Biden were to be taken down for opening the southern border, a lot of other people would go with them. He had a lot of accomplices. Permanent Washington doesn’t want that and ultimately and here’s the point: Permanent Washington is in charge,” Carlson argued.
The conversation then shifted to the Deep State and what it has been up to for decades, according to Carlson.
Carlson asserts that the top echelons of the American government operate according to a very specific design.
One thing you should know, according to Carlson, is that Richard Nixon was the most well-liked president in American history. Mr. Richard Nixon himself.
The Fox News host continued, “Yet somehow, without a single vote being cast by a single American voter, Richard Nixon was kicked out of office and replaced by the only unelected President in American history. So, we went from the most popular President to a President nobody voted for.”
Then Carlson noted that Nixon’s reelection in 1972 had the biggest margin of victory in popular vote history.
The Deep State would end up with the final say, as Carlson argued, “Nixon got 17 million more votes than his opponent. Less than two years later, he was gone. He was forced to resign and in his place, an obedient servant of the federal agencies called Gerald Ford took over the White House.”
In actuality, Nixon thought that certain parts of the federal bureaucracy were trying to weaken the American political system.
Nixon was adamant that the government had been undercut by the Deep State for a very long period.
He repeatedly said as much.
Of course, we now recognize that Nixon was entirely correct.
Tucker Carlson pointed out that, “On June 23, 1972, Nixon met with the then–CIA director, Richard Helms, at the White House. During the conversation, which thankfully was tape-recorded, Nixon suggested he knew ‘who shot John,’ meaning President John F. Kennedy. Nixon further implied that the CIA was directly involved in Kennedy’s assassination, which we now know it was.”
“But it turned out Nixon’s fears didn’t matter. Four days before, on June 19, The Washington Post had published the first of many stories about a break-in at the Watergate office building,” Carlson added.
Four of the five Watergate burglars were CIA employees, something Nixon was unaware of and which The Washington Post and all other media outlets failed to mention.
“The first of many dishonest Watergate stories was written by a 29-year-old metro reporter called Bob Woodward. Who exactly was Bob Woodward? Well, he wasn’t a journalist, ” Tucker continued.
“…Woodward had no background whatsoever in the news business… Woodward came directly from the classified areas of the federal government.”
Tucker says that Woodward was a naval officer for the Pentagon right before Watergate.
Regarding Woodward’s background, Tucker Carlson is absolutely correct; he had a top-secret clearance, frequently collaborated with American intelligence organizations, and was even posted to the White House.
Woodward was then mysteriously employed by the most influential news organization in Washington, D.C., after leaving the Navy.
Then, for no apparent reason, Woodward was given the greatest story in the country.
And Carlson took the plot even deeper, “Woodward’s main source for his Watergate series was the deputy director of the FBI, Mark Felt, and Mark Felt ran the FBI’s COINTELPRO program, which was designed to secretly discredit political actors, the federal agencies wanted to destroy.”
“… people like Richard Nixon,” Carlson added.
That’s not all, though.
Carlson went even further saying, “At the same time, those same agencies were also working to take down Nixon’s elected Vice President, Spiro Agnew. In the fall of 1973, Agnew was indicted for tax evasion and forced to resign. His replacement was a colorless congressman from Grand Rapids called Gerald Ford.”
Tucker then enquired as to Ford’s qualifications for the position, which was a topic that was on everyone’s mind in 1974 who was interested in politics.
Ford’s participation in the Warren Commission, which exonerated the CIA of complicity for JFK’s assassination, turned out to be his main claim to fame.
Nixon was compelled to accept Ford despite his lack of qualifications by the Deep State, and this was done by Democrats no less!
In fact, at the time, Democratic leader and House Speaker Carl Albert boasted, “We gave Nixon no choice but Ford.”
Gerald Ford became the country’s president eight months later.
The Deep State specifically attempted to conduct an operation like this against President Trump and his supporters.
General Michael Flynn was the first member of the Trump administration that the Deep State agencies pursued.
“Why Flynn?” Carlson enquired.
“Because Mike Flynn was a career Army intel officer who ran the Defense Intelligence Agency. In other words, Mike Flynn knew exactly how the system worked, and as a result, he was capable of fighting back. Four days after Donald Trump’s inauguration, the FBI lured Mike Flynn into a meeting without his lawyer, concocted a series of fake crimes and forced him to resign,” Carlson finished.
Finally, Carlson argued that he believes Joe Biden is the next target for the Deep State to take out one way or another.
