Barack Obama releases an election bombshell that is turning heads

The Obamas have plenty of influence behind the scenes. But now he’s bringing it into the open.

Because Barack Obama releases an election bombshell that is turning heads.

Former President Barack Obama is set to hit the campaign trail for Kamala Harris, attempting to breathe life into her faltering run for the White House.

Starting next week, Obama will venture into swing states, kicking off in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 10.

Pennsylvania, with its 19 Electoral College votes, could decide the outcome of the election.

Yet, despite Obama’s presence, Harris remains neck and neck with former President Donald Trump in the Keystone State.

It seems Obama’s charm and oratory skills, so often praised by his supporters, haven’t been enough to pull Harris out of her polling quagmire.

Obama’s involvement in Harris’ campaign blitz over the final stretch leading to Election Day signals a desperate attempt to salvage a campaign that appears to be on shaky ground.

How many events he will attend or whether Harris will appear alongside him at every rally remains a mystery.

But make no mistake, Obama’s presence shows just how much Harris is relying on the Obama legacy to prop up her floundering bid.

The stakes couldn’t be higher in Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania — the battleground states where Harris is barely keeping pace with Trump, with margins tighter than two points.

For Harris to need Obama to swoop in at this stage speaks volumes about her struggles to rally voters on her own.

Interestingly, Obama reportedly played a key role in pushing President Biden out of the race behind the scenes.

Yet, despite supposedly pulling the strings, it took him four days after Biden’s exit to officially endorse Harris.

Compare that to Biden’s immediate endorsement, and it’s clear Obama’s enthusiasm for Harris is somewhat lukewarm.

Even at the Democratic National Convention, where Obama delivered a keynote speech backing Harris, it was hard to shake the feeling that he was more focused on maintaining his own brand than elevating hers.

With comments like, “She won’t be focused on her problems… she’ll be focused on yours,” it’s almost as if Obama is trying to convince voters to ignore Harris’ glaring weaknesses.

And notably, while Obama made his speech at the Chicago convention, Harris was nowhere near — opting for a campaign rally in Milwaukee instead.

Meanwhile, Obama’s half-brother, Malik, dropped a bombshell in a recent interview, claiming that Barack is “still running the country” and would have “a big role to play” if Harris wins.

Malik, who has been an outspoken supporter of Trump since 2016, offers a stark contrast to the glowing image of Obama that Democrats want to project.

If Harris is banking on Obama to rescue her campaign, she might want to remember that voters aren’t electing Obama — they’re voting on her.

And based on the polls, they aren’t too impressed.
