Donald Trump’s security goes on red alert after what a top Democrat just said about him

Democrats have gone too far. Now they’re after Donald Trump’s life.

And Trump’s security was put on red alert after what this top Democrat said on CNN.

Sen. Chris Coons (D-Delaware) made the remark on Wednesday that Americans should be encouraged by “any action that makes it less likely” for former President Donald Trump to make a comeback to government.

In a widely criticized 4-3 decision on Tuesday night, the Colorado Supreme Court determined Donald Trump was disqualified under the 14th Amendment.

Coons told Kate Bolduan of CNN News Central that this might significantly impact the Republican primary, but that Joe Biden will be reelected independent of whoever is the Republican on the ballot.

“There was a finding by the court in Colorado, looking at the evidence that former President Trump participated in an insurrection,” Coons said. “I was here on Jan. 6th, we had an impeachment trial for President Trump after the events of Jan. 6, I think it’s undeniable, in my view, that he participated in an insurrection and as such should be disqualified from holding federal office.”

On January 6, 2021, during the certification of the electoral votes, hundreds of people breached the Capitol building.

Democrats claim that this event was effectively designed by Donald Trump and that he is therefore ineligible to run for office in 2024. However, the intention behind the ratification of the 14th Amendment in 1868 was to prevent those with ties to the Confederacy from holding public office.

“Whether it is a court that determines he’s unfit to hold office because he took up force against our Constitution or mobilized a mob against our Constitution, or because the electorate throws him out, I don’t think it really matters. If he’s unfit to hold office we should all be encouraged by any action that makes it less likely that he will return to the presidency.”

According to the average of general election polls conducted by RealClearPolitics between December 4 and December 18, Trump has a 2.6% lead against President Joe Biden.

These comments from U.S. Senator Coons are irresponsible and dangerous for a few reasons.

First of all, it’s obviously wrong that “any” means of preventing Donald Trump from winning again in 2024 are justified.

Coons’ words suggest he would even be OK with someone resorting to fatal violence against Donald Trump if it means that Trump won’t get another term in the White House.

That’s disgusting and abhorrent.

Secondly, without even getting to the level of outright violence, it’s not true that any other means of preventing Trump from gaining office again are easily justifiable.

Just because you can weaponize government against your political opponents, as many believe Joe Biden has against Trump, doesn’t make it right, moral, or ethical.

Joe Biden has for two years now been lecturing Americans all over the country how the 2024 election is about “preserving democracy” and how he and the Democrats are just the people to do that.

They regularly demonize anyone remotely conservative as a “MAGA Republican” who shouldn’t have a voice whatsoever. The only Republicans they believe are worthy of having a voice are the likes of Mitt Romney and the late John McCain. These are known RINOS (Republicans In Name Only).

What’s ironic about this is that by saying that “any” means should be used to prevent Trump from gaining office ever again, the Democrats are blatantly admitting that they don’t care to play by the rules of democracy at all.

They hate the Democratic Republic foundation that America was founded on, and they are showing their true colors by going above and beyond justifiable means to keep Trump out of the White House.

These are the people trying to suggest that they are the defenders of America’s democratic values and ideals.

Not an easy pill to swallow, that’s for sure.
