But what this Republican traitor just said on CNN is one of the dumbest statements you’ll ever hear.
It seems like there’s a never-ending storehouse of RINOS (Republicans in Name Only) who are willing to sell out their “conservative” values to get airtime on CNN or MSNBC. Not only that, but their Trump Derangement Syndrome is only getting worse and worse. Donald Trump could say the sky is blue and these RINOs like Mitt Romney would lock arms with Democrats to say that making the claim that the sky is blue is rac*st, specifically because Trump said it.
One RINO just went on CNN and made an anti-Trump statement that made so little sense it’s unbelievable he had the courage to utter these words on live TV for millions to hear.
Former Republican Says All Kamala Has To Do Is “Act Presidential” To Solve Economic Downturn
Former Republican Georgia Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan emphasized on CNN the crucial role Vice President Kamala Harris could play in stabilizing the economy by embodying presidential qualities as the stock market experiences significant volatility. He provided no explanation for how “acting presidential” actually solves negative economic variables.
During an appearance on “CNN Central News,” co-host Brianna Keilar inquired about Harris’s approach to the economy and her vulnerability regarding this issue, given the plummeting Dow Jones Industrial Average and NASDAQ due to recession concerns. Duncan responded by highlighting the importance of Harris demonstrating steady leadership, noting the substantial fundraising success the party has achieved recently.
“I think the most important thing she needs to do is just be a steady hand,” Duncan stated. “This country is so desperate for just a steady leader that is able to act like a president, talk like a president, tweet like a president. I really feel like that’s going to be a huge opportunity for her as these markets continue to go back and forth.”
Duncan continued, “You know, I think just acting like a president is a big deal. This has really been interesting to watch. I guess Donald Trump’s the latest illustration of Mike Tyson’s famous quote, ‘Everybody’s got a plan until they get punched in the face.’ Last two weeks, Kamala Harris has punched Donald Trump in the face with hundreds of millions of dollars worth of fundraising with incredibly strong momentum and energy and messaging. She’s on quite the roll.”
The stock market experienced a sharp decline on Monday, with both the Dow Jones Industrial Average and NASDAQ dropping over 1,000 points. Although the NASDAQ managed a partial recovery of about 500 points within the first two hours of trading, major stock indices closed with significant losses, following a disappointing job report released on Friday.
Over the past year, Americans have consistently expressed concerns about the economy as inflation continues to strain household budgets. Rising grocery prices and increased everyday expenses have heightened voter anxiety. A May poll by ABC News/Ipsos indicated that both the economy and inflation are the top concerns for voters in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
President Joe Biden’s approval rating on the economy stands at an estimated 34.8% average among voters, based on polls conducted between June 28 and July 30, according to Real Clear Politics. The impact of these economic issues on Harris’s polling numbers as the election approaches remains uncertain.
