President Biden needs every ounce of support from the Left for 2024. But that’s looking to be wishful thinking.
And this Democrat’s latest statement puts Joe Biden’s bid for re-election in danger.
President Joe Biden announced earlier this year that he was planning to run for re-election along with his running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris.
There’s still speculation however, on whether or not the President will be replaced by Democrats with a younger nominee.
Members of Biden’s own party have even become skeptical over the President’s ability to run an effective campaign and beat Donald Trump, the likely Republican nominee.
Some Leftists don’t even believe Joe Biden is an effective leader overall.
One of those Democrats includes Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV).
When asked by CNN if he’d vote for Joe Biden, Manchin responded that he’s “not gotten to that point yet,” and “there’s an awful lot to be sorted out.”
“We need to have our financial security, we need to secure our borders, we need to be tough on crime…and we need to have energy security,” the West Virginia Senator said.
“I have a lot of concerns with as far left as the Democratic Party and this administration have gone.”
Joe Manchin has been long recorded as someone who isn’t thrilled with the actions of Joe Biden and his administration.
He voted against Biden’s Build Back Better Act and worked to reduce spending in the Inflation Reduction Act, another one of Biden’s radical leftist creations.
There’s also reason to believe Manchin may run as a third party candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
“If enough Americans believe there is an option and the option is a threat to the extreme left and extreme right, it will be the greatest contribution to democracy, I believe,” Joe Manchin said.
“I don’t rule myself in and I don’t rule myself out.”

If Manchin is talking this much about potentially running as a third party candidate, it’s almost obvious that he won’t caste his vote for Joe Biden at this point.
And if enough Democrats can be convinced by Manchin to not vote for Biden, than that would be a disaster for the President.
The Left is souring on Joe Biden and it’ll only get worse for the 80 year old Commander in Chief.
