This video of the liberal media melting down over Trump is too good to miss

Democrats don’t know what to do with themselves. They’ve been bested and all they can do is scream.

And this video of the liberal media melting down over Trump is too good to miss.

Legacy media, which spent most of 2024 warning that Donald Trump posed a threat to democracy, struggled to keep composure as his victory looked more and more certain on election night.

Fox News projected that Trump would reclaim the White House as the 47th President of the United States, defying years of relentless negative coverage by mainstream outlets.

Reacting to this reality, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow speculated that Trump would move to ban abortion nationwide by executive order, while her colleague Alex Wagner expressed disbelief at the staying power of the MAGA movement, calling it a movement with “legs.”

CBS’ Gayle King expressed concern about Trump’s level of control, stating it “seems like he will be in power with no guard rails.”

Meanwhile, MSNBC’s Joy Reid connected Trump’s victory to global politics, remarking, “Nobody wants Donald Trump more to be president than [Israeli Prime Minister] Bibi Netanyahu,” who she claimed has a coalition backing actions akin to “a complete ethnic cleansing of Gaza.”

When Iowa was called for Trump, liberal media figures, who had trusted weekend polling showing Harris in the lead, began to react with shock. “This is beginning to sound like a postmortem,” NBC’s Lester Holt admitted.

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace raised questions about what kind of media young men consume, implying it fueled their belief in Trump’s economic promises. Liberal website BuzzFeed posted an all-blue map with the snide caption, “We ran 80,000 simulations. Trump was a lil b—h in all of them.”

MSNBC analyst Molly Jong-Fast deleted an earlier post predicting a Harris win, later sharing, “I’m gonna throw up,” on Instagram.

As Pennsylvania began to lean toward Trump, NBC’s panelists criticized Harris’ choice to campaign heavily in the state instead of selecting the popular Governor Josh Shapiro as her running mate. Approaching midnight, MSNBC’s Jen Psaki appeared on NBC, suggesting that Democratic discussions would likely focus on whether Biden should have been the candidate instead of Harris.

CNN’s John King highlighted Trump’s significant lead in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, commenting, “This is a place, the Harris campaign was hoping, ‘Hey women, you don’t have to tell your husband who you’re going to vote for.’” On MSNBC, Reid shifted blame for Harris’ North Carolina loss onto White women, asserting, “Black voters came through for Kamala Harris, White women voters did not.”

Far-Left pundit Elie Mystal took to social media, proclaiming, “Black people did their job. Trump’s gains with Latinos were real. Trump is their guy. The end.”

Liberal blogger Aaron Rupar offered a grim assessment of the electorate, declaring that a large portion of America supports Trump’s stances on issues like “transphobia” and “mass deportation.”

As the early morning hours approached, CNN’s Jake Tapper acknowledged that Trump’s standing was far stronger than Harris’, with Dana Bash adding, “If she doesn’t win Pennsylvania, it’s over.”

Soon after, Harris campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond announced she would not be addressing supporters that night, an echo of Hillary Clinton’s silent exit in 2016. Audie Cornish on CNN noted, “That is not the sound of a big crowd, that is not a celebratory mood.”

NBC’s Chuck Todd criticized Democrats for misjudging Latino voters by using “Latinx,” while CNN’s Van Jones shared an emotional reaction, speaking of voters “hurting” and African-American women feeling overlooked yet again.

For many liberal pundits, Trump’s success triggered deeper concerns. PBS’ Jonathan Capehart expressed unease over what this says about America’s direction: “Who are we as a country? I’m not sure I like it,” he reflected, later wondering if Americans had abandoned their commitment to democracy.

The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin suggested that Biden’s unpopularity hurt Harris, though she refrained from blaming him directly. Once Pennsylvania was finally called for Trump in the early morning, liberal commentators conceded there was no path forward for Harris, and Trump took the stage to address his supporters.
