Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat U.S. Representatives from Hawaii, lashed out at Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, a fellow Maine Democrat, over the “dangerous” decision to remove Trump from the 2024 Republican primary ticket.
On Thursday night, Bellows used the “insurrection” language of the 14th Amendment to declare that Trump could not be elected president. A 4-3 judgment was also made by the Colorado Supreme Court on December 19th in an attempt to exclude Trump from being on the ballot in the 2024 presidential election.
As Gabbard spoke to Pete Hegseth, a guest on Hannity, she emphasized the critical need of every American reading this news alert and realizing the threat it poses.
“You have a secretary of state who is a known partisan, who is known to be against Trump, she supported the impeachment of Trump, single-handedly making this decision to say the former president cannot be on the ballot, taking away our right as voters in this country to decide who we want to serve as our next president and commander in chief.”
On Wednesday, the Republican Party of Colorado filed an appeal with the state’s highest court.
“Is this in the DNA of the modern Democrat Party?” inquired Hegseth. “I mean, we’re seeing it through political persecution, but if they could, would they remove him from the ballot altogether?”
“Yes, I have no doubt about that,” Gabbard replied. “This is the M.O. of the Democrat elite. They will stop at nothing to try to maintain their power, even if it means taking away the right to vote of Americans. They have no issue taking Trump off the ballot, they have no issue pursuing him and persecuting him through a weaponized and politicized Department of Justice. They have no qualms doing whatever they feel is necessary to hold on to power. It is ridiculous that we are having this conversation in the United States of America.”
Tulsi Gabbard, back in October of 2022, announced that she would be leaving the Democrat Party for good and expressed the many reasons why in a video uploaded to her X (then known as Twitter) account.
She explained that she could no longer put up with the Democrat Party’s madness that includes a full devotion to wild woke politics, blatant anti-white politics, and extreme warmongering.
“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms,” Tulsi Gabbard said on X back in October of 2022.
She hit the nail on the head in her post when she highlighted that the Democrat Party is not a Party that believes in the people but instead the political class and the elite class.
“I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite,” Tulsi added.

It’s ironic that Joe Biden, the de facto head of the Democrat Party as a sitting U.S. President, continues to lecture Americans about how “MAGA Republicans” are a major threat to American democracy when it’s the Democrats who are seemingly obsessed with crushing their political opponents.
As Gabbard noted on Fox News, the Democrats will stop at absolutely nothing to prevent Donald Trump from stepping foot back into the Oval Office once more. They will not count the cost.
To do so, they will sidestep democracy and the foundations of the American republic. As long as it means they get their way at the end of the day. That’s a dangerous precedent to set for the future of American politics and society as a whole.
