Radical Leftist Arrested for Plotting to Assassinate President Trump in D.C. Crackdown
U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C., Jeanine Pirro revealed on Monday that authorities had nabbed a female suspect right in the heart of the capital for making direct threats against President Donald Trump. The suspect, Nathalie Rose Jones, faces federal charges for “knowingly and willfully threatening to take the life of the president of the United States,” as Pirro detailed in her announcement on X. Jones journeyed from New York to Washington, posting menacing calls on social media to see Trump wiped out.
Pirro laid out the chilling details: “She did come from New York to Washington, D.C., and she has been threatening and calling for the removal of the president and even worse as she got to D.C. Her threats were on Facebook and Instagram and she continues to call the president a terrorist and was working to have him eliminated. She is now in custody [and] she will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Make no mistake about that.”
This arrest comes amid President Trump’s decisive federal intervention in Washington, where he assumed control on August 11 and unleashed the National Guard to stomp out the rampant violent crime that’s turned the capital into a national disgrace.
Attorney General Pam Bondi reported on Monday that since the takeover of the Metropolitan Police Department, law enforcement has rounded up nearly 400 criminals, restoring order in a city long neglected by weak leadership.
Pirro added that over the weekend alone, officers hauled in 137 suspects and confiscated 21 illegal firearms, while her office issued warrants targeting k*llers, drug dealers, s*x offenders, and more.

Washington has been hammered by shocking violence throughout 2025, from the tragic shooting deaths of 21-year-old congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym to the m*rders of two Israeli Embassy workers near the Capital Jewish Museum.
The Trump administration swung into action last month after a vicious assault on Department of Government Efficiency staffer Edward Coristine, who was beaten while trying to thwart a carjacking—proving once again that bold leadership gets results.
But this latest threat against Trump isn’t isolated; it follows two brazen assassination attempts in 2024 that nearly claimed his life. In July, at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired a shot that grazed the president’s ear, a miracle survival that rallied Americans behind him.
Then in September, Ryan Routh tried to gun down Trump on his West Palm Beach golf course, another failed plot foiled by vigilant security. These repeated attacks on our president expose a dangerous pattern, fueled by the inflammatory hate spewed by Democrats who can’t accept Trump’s America-first agenda.
Democrats have ramped up their extreme rhetoric, labeling Trump a “threat to democracy” and comparing him to dictators, which only encourages unhinged radicals to take matters into their own hands.
From top party leaders to media allies, the constant drumbeat of demonization has created an environment where plotting to assassinate the president seems justified to the deranged left.
It’s no coincidence that as Democrats push their radical policies and attack Trump’s every move, we see more of these threats emerging, proving their words aren’t just politics, they’re incitement to violence.
