Biden makes unhinged and racist statement in latest disaster interview

The president is seething now that even his own party is coming after him. Now he’s gone completely off the rails.

And Biden made an unhinged and racist statement in his latest disaster interview.

President Biden once again fumbled publicly, this time over the name of his Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, while boasting about his decision to appoint a “black man” to the significant position.

The 81-year-old president made this awkward remark during an interview with Black Entertainment Television (BET) on Wednesday, where he discussed his track record of appointing black individuals within his administration.

A clip of the exchange quickly went viral on social media, as critics pounced on the gaffe-prone Biden for apparently forgetting Austin’s name and referring to him merely as “the black man.”

Some suggested Biden was struggling to articulate that he had placed “a black man” in the role.

“It’s all about treating people with dignity. For example, look at the heat I’m getting because I named a, uh, the secretary of defense, [unintelligible] black man,” Biden said.

“I named Ketanji Brown, I mean, because of the people I’ve named,” he continued, referencing Supreme Court Associate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether Biden said “a” or “the” when describing Austin’s race.

Nevertheless, social media users seized on the president’s slip-up.

“Let’s see how the Biden dead-enders spin this one,” one user posted on X.

“A POTUS who cannot remember the name of his SecDef — and instead calls him ‘the black man’ — is not mentally equipped to be in charge of 5,000 nuclear weapons,” another complained.

RNC Research posted the clip on X with a squeamish-faced emoji, highlighting the embarrassing moment.

Others, however, argued the viral clip was being taken out of context.

“I think people are misconstruing this clip. If you listen closely, Biden seems to say ‘the secretary of defense, a black man’ not ‘the black man’; and the context is he’s listing his black appointees,” one person said in a post on X.

The problem is that Biden has seemingly been unable to recall Austin’s name:

The New York Post reached out to the White House for a comment but didn’t receive an immediate response.
