Nothing in our Constitution is sacred to the Democrat Party. If it doesn’t fit their agenda, it’s thrown to the trash heap of history.
And Biden’s DOJ just scrapped the First Amendment in this shocking ruling.
There has been an undeniable movement within the Democrat Party to strip away the traditions of America.
One of the largest targets of their ire has been traditional Christianity.
Just recently, the DOJ was caught with a memo pointing to the dangers of “radical traditionalism” within the Catholic Church in America.
Following this, the FBI was exposed for sending at least one under-cover agent to develop sources within Catholic parishes.
All of this has happened while hundreds of Catholic parishes and pro-life centers have been relentlessly threatened, vandalized, and even bombed.
Joe Biden, a supposedly devout Catholic, has shown no interest in stemming the attacks on his own faith.
Rather, his DOJ is asking that those convicted of attacking churches should be let back on the street.
President Biden’s Department of Justice has come under fire after it was revealed that the DOJ recommended zero jail time in a plea deal involving a suspect charged with property destruction at a Catholic church in Washington in June 2022.
More than $30,000 in damage was done to the St. Louise Catholic Church in Bellevue, Washington, including the destruction of an Italian-made Blessed Virgin Mary statue, anti-Catholic graffiti, and damaged glass.
Maeve Nota, who was 31 years old when she was arrested in 2022, is also facing state charges for a hate crime and assault. During the incident, Nota also spray-painted the face and clothes of a church staffer.
Nota, who apparently identifies as a transgender woman, agreed into a plea agreement with the DOJ in March. Nota agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of destroying religious property.
The crime carries a maximum prison sentence of one year, a fine of up to $100,000, up to five years probation, and supervision following release from prison. According to the March 14 plea agreement, if the court accepts the DOJ’s recommended sentence, Nota will serve no prison time but will be sentenced to three years probation. Probation requirements vary depending on the crime, such as appearing in court and reporting to a probation officer.
The plea deal states that the court makes the final choice on Nota’s punishment and is not required to accept the DOJ’s recommendation.
According to the plea bargain, Nota attacked the church “because of the religious character of the property.”
So, by definition, it was a self-avowed hate crime.
“Who would have known many months later the Department of Justice recommends no jail time for a hate crime… oh yeah I guess we all would have known. Thank goodness for Biden-era policies that ruin America and don’t hold criminals accountable,” Twitter user Tyrel said.
Some compared Nota’s sentencing proposal to the DOJ’s aggressive prosecution of pro-life father of seven Mark Houck, who was cleared of federal charges in January.
Houck, a devout Catholic, was accused of forcefully pushing an abortion clinic escort while sidewalk counseling his 12-year-old son outside a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood. He said he was defending his son from the clinic escort’s pestering.
“Let’s all stop pretending @JoeBiden is #Catholic. His @DOJ prosecuted devout Catholic Mark Houck for protecting his son against an abortion activist, he faced 11 years. This transgender that vandalized causing $10,000 worth of damage gets NOTHING!” The Crusade Channel posted a tweet.
Mike Davis, founder of the Article III Project — a nonprofit with a mission of supporting “constitutionalist judges” — told Fox News Digital: “It is very clear that the Biden Justice Department has politicized and weaponized the FACE Act to go after pro-life Christians praying outside of abortion clinics like Mark Houck while turning a blind eye to violent felons terrorizing and badly damaging Catholic churches like Maeve Nota.”
