Bill Clinton made a shocking confession in this game-changing interview

The Clintons always seem to come back into the spotlight. This time, it’s utterly humiliating.

And now Bill Clinton made a shocking confession in this game-changing interview.

Clinton’s Defense of Biden Raises Eyebrows

Former President Bill Clinton, at 78, has come out swinging to dismiss explosive allegations about President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, claiming he “never” doubted the 82-year-old’s ability to lead.

On CBS Sunday Morning, Clinton insisted he met Biden recently and found him in “good shape,” despite the book Original Sin alleging Biden’s mental struggles were so severe that a shadow council of aides and family ran the White House.

Critics might question Clinton’s rosy portrayal, given his own history of political spin.

“I had never seen him and walked away thinking, he can’t do this anymore,” Clinton said, brushing off the book’s claims without reading it, per Mediaite. His refusal to engage with the allegations could strike some as conveniently dismissive.

Clinton’s Selective Doubts on Biden’s Stamina

Clinton admitted to one reservation about Biden’s reelection campaign: whether the octogenarian could handle the presidency’s grueling demands until age 86.

“The only concern I thought he had to deal with was, could anybody do that job until they were 86?” he said.

Yet, he quickly added, “We’d had several long talks. He was always on top of his briefs.”

This carefully worded defense might seem like Clinton hedging his bets, praising Biden’s intellect while sidestepping the physical and mental toll evident in Biden’s faltering campaign, which culminated in a disastrous debate against Donald Trump in July.

Some might see Clinton’s comments as less about Biden’s fitness and more about protecting a fellow Democrat’s legacy.

Original Sin Exposes Biden’s Inner Circle, Despite Clinton’s Denials

The controversial book Original Sin by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, published in May, claimed a “politburo” of Biden’s loyal aides, including First Lady Jill Biden and Hunter Biden, effectively governed as Biden’s focus waned.

It alleged his team hid his declining capacity while he pursued a second term, a narrative amplified by Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis and his abrupt exit from the race.

Clinton waved off these claims, saying, “I didn’t want to because he’s not president anymore, and I think he did a good job.”

His staunch loyalty might ring hollow to skeptics, especially as Biden’s allies, like Jill Biden, insisted on The View that critics “didn’t see how hard Joe worked every single day.”

Clinton’s blanket dismissal could be viewed as an attempt to shield a flawed administration rather than confront uncomfortable truths.
