The FBI is in chaos from the sheer number of scandals that have come out of their agency. One official has sold out America to the highest bidder.
And here’s how this top FBI official was CAUGHT aiding and abetting foreign agents.
The FBI is supposed to be the Alpha and Omega of law enforcement in this nation.
Their sole purpose is to ensure crime doesn’t go unpunished, but they’ve shown time and again they have a different agenda.
Just today, it was revealed that the former top FBI agent for counterintelligence in New York, Charles McGonigal, has been arrested and charged with violating U.S. sanctions to aid Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska.
But the real kicker is that McGonigal attempted to get the sanctions lifted for Deripaska in 2019, just one year after leaving his job at the FBI.
He and his co-defendant, 69-year-old court interpreter Sergey Shestakov, are due to appear in court later Monday.
In a statement, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said McGonigal and Shestakov “violated U.S. sanctions by agreeing to provide services to Oleg Deripaska, a sanctioned Russian oligarch.”
“They both previously worked with Deripaska to attempt to have his sanctions removed, and, as public servants, they should have known better,” Williams said.
“This Office will continue to prosecute those who violate U.S. sanctions enacted in response to Russian belligerence in Ukraine in order to line their own pockets.”
Unfortunately for the FBI, this adds more fuel to the fire after a handful of scandals have decimated the agency’s credibility.
Just last year, the FBI was embroiled in scandal after launching a SWAT-style raid to arrest pro-lifer Mark Houck’s in front of his seven children and wife. Houck is set to appear in court tomorrow, January 24th, after being imprisoned for almost four months.
In the same vein, the agency made the unprecedented move of raiding Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in August of last year, the first time in American history a political rival of the current president has been targeted in such a way.
Or what about the FBI whistleblowers who, as a recent House Judiciary Report states, “describe how the FBI has abused its law-enforcement authorities for political purposes, and how actions by FBI leadership show a political bias against conservatives”?
Not only is there an ongoing uproar over the role the FBI played in colluding with social media titans like Twitter to control the political narrative going into the 2020 presidential election…
The report also accused the agency of surveillance abuses stemming from the 2016 presidential election, an effort to “purge” FBI employees holding conservative views, and “political meddling” that hampers criminal investigations.
But if you question the Leftist narrative surrounding these scandals and don’t jump for joy, you’re labelled an extremist or, worse, a domestic terrorist.
Of course, none of those accusations ring true when the American people can see clearly that the FBI is rotten to the core.
Where they were founded to serve and protect, they now target and attack.
