CNN airs a ridiculous claim about a ‘sinister’ Republican plan

CNN has it out for the GOP. They are basically a leftist propaganda outlet.

And CNN aired a ridiculous claim about a ‘sinister’ Republican plan.

On Thursday evening, CNN’s OutFront delivered another masterclass in elite panic, with so-called historian Jon Meacham warning that a Republican hold on the House would spell disaster for American elections.

Host Erin Burnett set the table for the hysteria by asking her guest, “Candidates frame every election as an existential battle, not just a choice. And we’ve all experienced that in our lives. But now here we are at a midterm election that is being framed that way in an era that is, is, is, is profoundly unique in its own way. Is it true this year?”

Meacham seized the moment to unload on President Trump and his millions of supporters, framing any skepticism about election results as a dangerous innovation in our politics.

“I think the vital question is the truly unique virus that President Trump introduced into the body politic is a particularly virulent one. And it is that if an election doesn’t go the way you want. It wasn’t legitimate. It must have been stolen. It must have been rigged,” he said.

“That’s a unique contribution, if you will, to the American political vernacular. Thomas Jefferson and John Adams didn’t do it. Andrew Jackson didn’t do it in 1824. Richard Nixon didn’t do it in 1960. Hubert Humphrey didn’t do it in 1968. Vice President Gore didn’t do it in 2000. We just we tended to respect the results of elections. What happened in 2020 sets that existential, question for us right now.”

This selective history ignores how quickly Democrats cried foul in races they lost, from endless 2016 conspiracy theories to Stacey Abrams refusing to concede in Georgia. Yet Meacham acts as if only Trump-world dares to ask tough questions.

The truth is that everyday Americans saw the chaos of 2020 with their own eyes: unsecured drop boxes, last-minute rule changes, and social media giants burying stories that could have swayed voters.

Those concerns did not come from thin air. They came from parents watching their kids learn in failing schools, workers seeing jobs shipped overseas, and families hit by inflation under policies pushed by the same crowd now lecturing us about “democracy.”

Meacham was not finished. He doubled down with a direct attack on conservatives who want clean elections.

“The Republicans were to hold on to, if the MAGA Republicans were to hold on to the Congress, there is the possibility that more work would be done to undermine those full, free and fair elections,” Meacham said.

“And I think that is a vital thing that should be supra, Partizan, if you’re a Democrat or if you’re a Republican, you should care about that.”

Notice how he singles out “MAGA Republicans” as the villains. In the language of the ruling class, that means anyone who puts America and its voters first instead of bowing to the permanent bureaucracy in Washington.

This is pure projection. The same networks and experts who spent years pushing the Russia collusion hoax against Trump now claim that asking for voter ID or auditing mail ballots is somehow un-American.

Meacham and his CNN colleagues can keep sounding the alarm. But the American people are done being told that loving their country and demanding honest elections makes them the problem.
