We’re learning more every day about the bureaucrats in Washington D.C. and their plans for the country. Now the mask is starting to come off.
And Deep State agents are trembling in their boots after a Republican threatened them with this massive investigation.
The Left is being exposed for infecting nearly every facet of American government and culture.
While elections ebb and flow, with Republicans controlling Congress and the White House off and on, the agencies within government are Leftist breeding grounds.
Every agency imaginable including the FBI and Department of Defense are run by the pals of Democrats.
And while Americans were blind to this in years past as it was kept from them, the past few months have seen leak after leak expose the Deep State for everyone to see.
One of the biggest scandals has come from the federal governments’ collusion with Big Tech social media titans like Twitter to censor and “shadowban” conservative politicians and stories (like the Hunter Biden laptop story) in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election.
The evidence is so damning that Republicans are calling for investigations and even criminal charges against the perpetrators.
Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) promised on Saturday that House Republicans would subpoena the 51 intelligence veterans who signed a letter alleging that the Hunter Biden laptop allegation was part of a Russian misinformation effort.
McCarthy’s vow comes as Twitter CEO Elon Musk works with various journalists to disclose “The Twitter Files,” which include internal messages discussing efforts to restrict the dissemination of reports about the contents of the laptop before of the 2020 election.
McCarthy appeared on Fox News’ “One Nation” to explain how Republicans will conduct investigations into Twitter once they take control of the lower chamber.
He called the findings “egregious,” focusing on the scores of former intelligence personnel who have been accused of election meddling by critics.
“Those 51 intel agents that signed a letter that said the Hunter Biden information was all wrong — was Russia collusion — many of them have a security clearance,” McCarthy said.
The letter’s signatories, who included former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan, warned that the appearance of reporting about the laptop in October 2020 “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
Going beyond what the letter stated, Politico published a headline that stated the former intelligence officials claimed the piece was “Russian disinformation.” Hunter’s father, then-candidate Joe Biden, used the letter during one of his debates with then-President Donald Trump to cast doubt on the laptop claim.
McCarthy stated that the intelligence veterans will be summoned and brought before a committee to answer questions regarding the letter about the laptop, the contents of which have now been analyzed and proven to be legitimate.
“Why did they sign it?” McCarthy inquired. “Why did they lie to the American public? A Clapper, a Brennan? Why did you use the reputation that America was able to give to you — more information — but use it for a political purpose and lie to the American public?”
McCarthy also claimed that Facebook and Google should be investigated, alleging that they “became an arm of the Democratic Party and the arm of government,” and that these digital corporations should not be granted Section 230 legal protections.
The Hunter Biden investigation is one of many that Republicans are planning to launch after gaining a narrow majority in the House in the 2022 midterm elections. McCarthy will likely be elected speaker by a simple majority of House members in a vote scheduled for next month.
But at least one Republican, Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), has accused McCarthy of being disloyal to Trump and encouraging colleagues to “reinvigorate the America First movement.”
