Democrat goes rogue to drop huge confession about Joe Biden live on Fox News

The Democrats are at a crossroads. They have to confess to all the lies or go extinct.

That’s why a top Democrat went rogue to drop this huge confession about Joe Biden on Fox News.

Former Democrat Puts Joe Biden Advisors On Blast For Lying To The American People

Former Democratic Minnesota Representative Dean Phillips has sharply criticized Mike Donilon, a former adviser to President Joe Biden, for his role in attempting to keep the incumbent president in the 2024 race. Phillips called Donilon one of the “ring leaders” behind efforts to maintain Biden’s candidacy, emphasizing that figures like him are more focused on “self-preservation” than on the country’s best interests.

During an interview on February 13 at Harvard’s Institute of Politics, Donilon, a close Biden ally, responded to concerns about the president’s mental fitness and public performance. Reflecting on the 2024 campaign and Biden’s debate struggles, Donilon defended Biden by suggesting that Democrats had “lost their mind” over criticisms stemming from Biden’s underwhelming debate performance. He added that occasionally, people simply “have terrible debates” and that such moments shouldn’t overshadow the president’s qualifications and record.

However, Phillips, appearing as a guest on The Ingraham Angle with Kayleigh McEnany, didn’t share Donilon’s defense of Biden’s fitness for office. McEnany asked Phillips whether Biden could have won the 2024 race had he decided to stay in the contest. Phillips quickly pushed back, referring to Donilon’s comments and his involvement in perpetuating the narrative that Biden could maintain a viable campaign despite mounting concerns.

“Now Kayleigh, Mr. Donilon, with all due respect, was one of the ring leaders of the cover-up,” Phillips remarked. He went on to explain that Biden’s disastrous debate performance was just the “symptom of a president who was reaching the end of his first term not on solid footing.” Phillips further asserted that Biden, in his current state, “was not going to win that race no matter what” and certainly could not serve another four years as president.

Before Biden faced off against Donald Trump on June 27 in the presidential debate, his campaign had defended his mental sharpness and abilities. Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dismissed concerns about Biden’s age and mental acuity, accusing Republicans of pushing a negative narrative. Jean-Pierre further downplayed viral videos showing Biden struggling with words or appearing confused, labeling them as “cheap fakes.”

However, after the debate, the concerns about Biden’s mental fitness became undeniable for many. During the event, Biden struggled to finish sentences and was visibly disoriented at times, prompting lawmakers, donors, and political pundits to call for him to withdraw from the race. As these concerns grew, it became clear that there were significant divisions within the Democratic Party about Biden’s candidacy for 2024.

In his remarks, Phillips directly addressed the issue of power dynamics in Washington D.C. “Mr. Donilon knows that, but we have this really perverse incentive in Washington D.C. on both sides of the aisle to protect and preserve your proximity to power,” Phillips argued. He criticized the political establishment for placing a higher value on maintaining influence than on doing what is right for the country. “I’m afraid Mr. Donilon, like so many others on your show, and on all the evening cable shows, say the same thing months down the road and forget where they were when the real issues happened,” he continued.

Phillips, who has been a vocal critic of the way political power is wielded in Washington, further expressed his frustration. “I’m afraid he’s just one of them, and that’s the problem,” he said, pointing out that many in Washington seem more concerned about “self-preservation than their principles.” He acknowledged the intoxicating nature of power and how it often distorts the priorities of those in the political sphere, particularly in Washington.

The Democratic Party has faced a series of challenges in recent years, especially following the election of Donald Trump in 2016. The party has struggled to regain its footing and unify around a clear message. The difficulties were compounded by the Biden administration’s waning popularity, as well as concerns over his age and the public’s perception of his ability to lead the country.

As the midterm elections loom, reports have surfaced that major Democratic donors are withholding financial support from Left-wing activist groups, citing the party’s failures and its inability to secure critical victories in key elections. This has led to a fundraising struggle for many groups within the Democratic establishment.

The ongoing tension within the Democratic Party has sparked debates about the future of the Democrat Party as a whole, especially in the wake of the damage that the Joe Biden administration inflicted on their party. The focus, for many, is shifting toward whether the party can move beyond its internal divisions and rally around a candidate who can compete effectively by actually reaching the American people.

Cook Political Report Identifies Key Toss-Up Seats for 2026 Election

As the 2026 election draws near, the Cook Political Report, a well-regarded nonpartisan election handicapper, has highlighted a competitive battlefield in the U.S. House of Representatives. According to their latest analysis, 10 seats held by Democrats and eight seats controlled by Republicans are considered to be in a “toss-up” category, indicating that these races could swing either way.

The Democratic-held seats identified as vulnerable span a variety of states and represent diverse political environments. These seats are viewed as at-risk, suggesting that incumbents may face significant challenges in holding their positions as the election approaches.

On the Republican side, the Cook Political Report has also flagged several seats as vulnerable, with eight districts identified as particularly at risk for the GOP. These Republican-held districts could see competitive challenges from Democratic opponents, with changing political dynamics offering opportunities for a shift in control.

Despite the vulnerability of some Republican seats, the party may be starting off in a stronger position than it was in 2018, despite holding a narrow majority in the House. The Cook Political Report’s analysts, Erin Covey and Matthew Klein, pointed out that Republicans may have a favorable starting position due to national trends. They noted that President Donald Trump’s recent victories were not only widespread but also marked a reversal in suburban areas that had shifted leftward since 2016. Trump made significant gains in urban areas as well, which could benefit Republicans heading into the 2026 elections.

“Though their majority is dangerously thin, in some ways, Republicans are starting out in a stronger position than they were in 2018. Trump’s latest victory was broad; he clawed back ground in suburbs that had lurched to the left since 2016 and made massive inroads in urban areas,” Covey and Klein wrote. Additionally, they observed that almost all of the most competitive House districts moved to the right between 2020 and 2024, with Washington’s 3rd District being the sole exception. This shift could provide Republicans with an advantage as they prepare for the 2026 election cycle.

The Cook Political Report also acknowledged that both parties have bright spots heading into 2026. For Republicans, there is the possibility of gaining as many as three seats due to their control over the redistricting process in Ohio. The ability to redraw district lines could give the GOP a tactical advantage, enhancing their chances of holding or gaining seats in the state.

Meanwhile, Democrats also showed at least some resilience in the 2024 election, with more of their candidates outperforming former Vice President Kamala Harris than the number of Republicans who outperformed President Donald Trump in competitive House races. This indicates that Democrats could remain competitive in certain districts, even in the face of national trends favoring Republicans.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has welcomed the Cook Political Report’s analysis, which points to the party’s confidence in their electoral prospects. NRCC spokesperson Mike Marinella emphasized that the GOP sees a favorable math equation for the upcoming election.

“The math is in our favor, and it’s clear House Republicans are on offense for 2026,” Marinella said in a statement. “House Democrats are in shambles—they don’t have a clear message and they’re incapable of selling voters on their failed agenda. We will work tirelessly to hold the Democrat Party accountable and grow our Republican majority.”
