Joe Biden can’t seem to get out of his own way. Nearly every day he’s trying to destroy his career with his damaging actions.
And Democrats are speechless after President Biden is caught lying about a top Republican.
While speaking to firefighters at an event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Monday, Joe Biden decided to tell several stories in order to make his opening remarks sound more impressive.
The problem with those stories is that parts of them were exaggerated while other parts were complete lies.
One of the stories he told was about the time he had a brain aneurysm in 1988 and then-President Ronald Reagan tried to save his life by sending “Air Force Helicopter One” to take him to the hospital.
“I – I would not be here were it not for my local fire company in Wilmington, Delaware. They saved my life. I had a cranial aneurysm. I wasn’t – it was the middle of a snowstorm. Not a joke,” Biden said at the event.
“I couldn’t figure out how they were going to – President Reagan was nice enough to send Air Force – Helicopter One to take me down, but it couldn’t fly. And so, my fire department – my fire department came up, put me in the back, and took me on – in a snow – in a heavy snow on the day I went down to Walter Reed, because that’s where I had to get for this operation.”
“I got there for a nine-hour operation that saved my life. I – not a joke. My firefighters – the guys I grew up with – they saved my life,” Biden added.
It’s true that the president had an aneurysm. In fact, he had two surgeries to fix the life-threatening issue, but as for the rest of his story, most of it is a bunch of lies.
Biden was indeed transferred from St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware to Walter Reed, according to The New York Times.
But according to Steven Nelson of The New York Post, there was no mention of Ronald Reagan offering transportation for Biden in Reagan’s presidential diary or the current president’s autobiography.
The New York Post also reports that Regan mentioned the Marine One helicopter in his notes on the day of Biden’s aneurysm, but only to bring up the point that the weather was so poor that he couldn’t use it for himself.
As for President Biden’s 2007 autobiography, Promises to Keep, it mentions a helicopter, but not Marine One.
“Weather conditions made a medevac helicopter flight too dangerous. I had no idea what time it was, but I found myself on a gurney, my test results strapped to my chest, being wheeled out the doors of Saint Francis [hospital in Wilmington, Del.] toward a waiting ambulance,” Biden wrote in his book.
Biden claims Ronald Reagan sent "Air Force Helicopter One" to take him to the hospital when he had a brain aneurysm in the 1980s.
His story "is not supported by either his own autobiography or by Reagan’s daily presidential diary," according to @stevennelson10. pic.twitter.com/hJ9aSy0cud

While continuing his speech, Biden also brought up the story of his kitchen catching on fire after a lightning strike, which he greatly exaggerated.
The president made the incident seem like he almost lost his whole home, even though the fire was small and contained in less than 20 minutes by firefighters.
Is Joe Biden purposefully lying to gain more popularity and attention?
Or is he suffering from cognitive decline that’s clouding his memory and ability to properly relay stories from his past?
We’ll leave it up to you to make that decision.
