In a stunning display of elite weakness, California Senator Adam Schiff appeared on ABC’s This Week to tear into President Donald Trump’s gutsy strike against Iran’s top tyrant.
The Democrat made it clear he believes Trump went too far by taking out Ayatollah Khomeini.
Schiff insisted the move was reckless because the regime supposedly posed no danger to everyday Americans.
Host George Stephanopoulos laid out the cold truth, reminding viewers that the Ayatollah “led a regime that brutalized its own people” and “launched attacks around the world for almost 40 years.”
He asked Schiff straight up whether the president was right to act.
Schiff shot back with a flat refusal.
“You’re right about the Ayatollah. He was a brutal dictator. This is a m*rderous regime,” Schiff conceded before immediately undermining his own words.
“But at the same time, it posed no imminent threat of attack to the United States,” he claimed.
Schiff rattled off excuses about Iran’s nukes staying gone and lacking long-range missiles that could reach our shores.
He dismissed the entire operation as an overreach aimed at regime change with no real justification.
This is the same tired Democrat song we’ve heard for decades while terrorists plot in the shadows.
President Trump didn’t sit around waiting for permission slips from Washington bureaucrats.
He acted like a true leader, sending a message that America will no longer tolerate regimes that sponsor terror and crush their citizens.
Schiff fretted that the strike might spark chaos the elites can’t manage if ordinary Iranians finally rise against their oppressors.
He warned that brave protesters answering Trump’s call could face slaughter while counting on U.S. backup that might never arrive.
Or worse, one evil regime simply morphs into another equally twisted outfit, leaving nothing gained.
But while Schiff lectures from his safe perch in Washington, real patriots cheer a leader who protects our homeland without apology.
