Joe Biden’s health is on the decline. There’s no doubt about that.
And disturbing photos of Joe Biden were released that spell trouble for the former president.
Joe Biden, the aging former president, made his first public appearance over the weekend since the bombshell revelation about his radiation treatment for prostate cancer. He showed up at evening Mass at St. Joseph on the Brandywine, the Roman Catholic church he’s been going to for years in his home state.
Looking every bit his 82 years, Biden appeared weak and unsteady as he exited the service. Photographers caught him shuffling along slowly, leaning on a woman’s arm for balance during the walk.
That fresh scar above his right eye stood out plainly, a reminder of the skin cancer surgery he had just recently. He stopped to say hello to some folks outside after the end of Mass.
Biden kept things low-key, talking softly with a handful of parishioners for around 10 minutes. Notably absent was his wife, Jill, who skipped the outing altogether.
This marks the first time we’ve seen him out and about since last week’s announcement that he’s kicked off a grueling five-week round of radiation and hormone treatments for his Stage 4 prostate cancer, which has already invaded his bones.
His team insists the treatment plan will wrap up in about five weeks, but anyone paying attention knows this isn’t some minor hiccup.
Medical experts have pegged his cancer as high-grade due to a Gleason score of nine, just one shy of the worst possible on that scale. It’s still hormone-sensitive, so they’re hitting it with meds and beams to keep it in check.
Reports say Biden’s been popping hormone pills as part of the regimen, all while getting zapped with radiation to fight back against the disease.
The whole mess started when he complained about urinary problems earlier this year, prompting docs to spot a tiny nodule on his prostate that turned out to be far more sinister.
On top of this prostate nightmare, Biden’s no stranger to cancer scares. He’s had skin lesions carved out twice now, including that recent one on his forehead that left the visible mark.
Back in 2023, while still in the Oval Office, he got a cancerous spot yanked from his chest. His doctor at the time called it a success, saying no more follow-ups were needed.
Biden’s declining health turned into a massive political firestorm during his last stretch as president, with critics hammering away at his age and stamina.
Those doubts exploded after his disastrous debate showdown with Donald Trump, where he stumbled badly and looked outmatched. That flop sealed his fate, forcing him to bail on his re-election dreams in July 2024.
He threw his support behind Kamala Harris, his VP at the time, but she couldn’t pull it off and got trounced by Trump in the end.
Now, with Trump back in charge, Biden’s faded into the background since vacating the White House in January.
Even with therapy underway, his handlers claim he’s gearing up for a couple of upcoming gigs: an award presentation in Boston and a Democrat cash-grab event in Nebraska.
