DNC delegate breaks ranks and joins forces with Donald Trump

The Left is convulsing. They know their goose is cooked.

And now a DNC delegate broke ranks and joined forces with Donald Trump.

Not all Democrats are happy with Kamala Harris and the direction of their party.

A former Democratic National Convention (DNC) delegate took to social media on Friday to announce her decision to break with the Democratic Party and switch to the GOP.

Audrey McNeal, a 22-year-old who represented her district at both the 2020 and 2024 DNC conventions, shared on X that she now plans to vote for the Trump-Vance ticket, marking her official shift to the Republican Party.

“In 2020, I was elected at 18 to become one of the youngest delegates to the Democratic National Convention on behalf of my district. And in 2024, I was elected again to return to the DNC as a delegate,” McNeal explained.

“But this year, I’m casting my ballot for Donald Trump.”

McNeal, who was elected in March, initially intended to use her position at the DNC to address concerns over free speech, the border crisis, and economic policies. But after her experience, she grew disillusioned.

“After reflecting on my time at the DNC, I realized it was no longer the party of free speech and civil liberties that it used to be,” she noted, adding:

“Patrick Henry once said that the liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them.”

The tipping point for McNeal came when President Biden dropped his reelection bid on July 21, immediately endorsing Kamala Harris.

Despite calls from prominent Democrats like former President Obama for an open primary, the DNC bypassed the process, positioning Harris as the 2024 nominee.

“For the rulers of the Democratic Party elite to install Kamala Harris as the presidential nominee via stripping the vote of 14 million Americans, including their own delegates such as myself, well that was a decision in a transaction that was concealed,” she declared.

McNeal proudly stated she is now joining the Republican Party as a constitutional conservative.

Reflecting on her time as a DNC delegate, McNeal had previously described it as “empowering” to be among other young delegates, noting in August that they shared “very passionate dreams” and supported each other’s campaigns and caucus events.

But now, McNeal’s path has changed, with her new X account, opened in October, showing clear alignment with her conservative shift — her first post even shared a clip promoting Trump’s podcast appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience.
