The president-elect has been filling out his cabinet for a month. But this could shake things up.
And now Donald Trump’s jaw dropped after this adviser collapsed on stage.
Alex Bruesewitz, a Trump campaign adviser, caused quite a stir at the New York Young Republican Club gala Sunday night when he fainted onstage, taking the lectern down with him.
The unsettling moment was caught on video, showing Bruesewitz slurring his words before collapsing in front of a packed crowd at the Manhattan event.
Bruesewitz, who was introducing incoming White House senior aide Dan Scavino at the time, was quickly surrounded by concerned attendees who rushed to help him after the dramatic fall.
Raheem Kassam, the event’s master of ceremonies and a former aide to British conservative leader Nigel Farage, reassured the audience shortly afterward.
He informed them that Bruesewitz was backstage recovering and even managed to crack a joke.
“I talked to our friend Alex Bruesewitz and you know what he said to me? He goes, ‘Did I at least look cool?’ I said, ‘Alex, you used gravity like I’ve seen nobody use gravity before in their lives,’” Kassam quipped.
“But he’s recuperating back there, so give him a big cheer so he’ll hear you.”
President-elect Donald Trump also called in after the incident to offer his encouragement to his steadfast adviser.
“I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun,” Trump said over the phone.
“There’s no doubt about that. So I want to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special guy.”
Bruesewitz, CEO of X Strategies LLC, is a staunch supporter of Trump’s America First agenda.
His organization is dedicated to defeating anti-MAGA Republicans and replacing them with candidates who uphold conservative principles.
“Bruesewitz has been the driving force behind the efforts to defeat Republicans who fight against Trump and the MAGA movement and works to replace them with Republicans who fight for values we hold dear,” an excerpt from the X Strategies website reads.

Earlier in his speech, Bruesewitz appeared in good spirits, praising the New York Republican Club for their unwavering support of Trump, whom he referred to as the “45th and future 47th president.”
He also acknowledged several Trump allies in attendance, including former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz.
The gala, held at Cipriani Wall Street, was a star-studded event featuring prominent conservative figures such as Farage, Scavino, former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, and senior Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski.
