Failed Democrat candidate spews an asinine claim about the Trump White House

Leftists have lost their minds. They’re constantly shouting out nonsense.

And a failed Democrat candidate spewed an asinine claim about the Trump White House.

In a fiery rant on MS NOW’s All In this past Thursday, Stacey Abrams, the former Georgia State Representative who’s no stranger to election controversies, unloaded on President Donald Trump. She painted him as the mastermind behind some grand “authoritarian takeover.” But let’s be real—coming from someone who’s spent years pushing her own narratives about elections, this sounds more like sour grapes than solid fact.

Abrams kicked off her tirade by insisting that the focus isn’t just on the 2020 election. “I think it’s important for us to understand that this is not about 2020. This is a pretext,” she declared. She claims every investigation under the sun—Democrats, Republicans, you name it—has already proven that vote was clean as a whistle. Yet here she is, warning that Trump’s crew is using it as a smokescreen to grab records they shouldn’t have.

Why the panic? Abrams ties it straight to Georgia’s big Senate showdown in 2026.

“The 2020 election has been investigated by Democrats, Republican and by, you know, every by every department you can imagine. They know that election was free and fair, but what they think they can do is use this as a pretext to seize records to which the federal government is not entitled, and they will use those records to challenge voters, to intimidate them, and to preempt, disqualify them. Because Georgia has one of the preeminent Senate races in 2026,” she said. It’s like she’s already scripting the blame game if things don’t go her way.

But Abrams didn’t stop at Georgia. She sees this as a nationwide plot, a dry run for Republicans to hand over election control to the feds. “This is also a test run for what they’ve tried to do across the country, which is for states to abandon their constitutional responsibility for managing elections and give that information to a federal government that is in the midst of an authoritarian takeover,” she continued. Funny how the left screams about federal overreach when it suits them, but cheers it on for their pet causes like gun grabs or border chaos.

She hammered home the point, calling out the supposed real motive: future elections. “And so, while they will use the easy lay up of saying something about 2020, this is all about 26 and 28 and their attempt to destroy democracy,” Abrams added.

Abrams went full doomsday, declaring America knee-deep in authoritarianism. “This is a country that is in the midst of an authoritarian takeover,” she proclaimed. She rattled off some checklist: “There are ten steps to authoritarianism, and we have hit all ten steps. But step ten is destroying democracy for everyone.” It’s the kind of alarmist talk that gets ratings on MS NOW but falls flat with everyday Americans tired of elite fearmongering.

She broke it down further, accusing Republicans of sneaky tactics. “And you do that by changing the rules, by redistricting. You do that by intimidating voters, by disqualifying voters. You do that by seizing the operations of elections,” Abrams said. Redistricting? That’s been a bipartisan game forever, but suddenly it’s evil when conservatives fight back against gerrymandered blue strongholds.

Wrapping up her spiel, Abrams tried to rally the troops with a fighting spirit. “The more we watched this Republican authority regime try to take away the right to vote, the more people are going to fight to use it,” she concluded. Fight to use it? Sounds like a call to arms, but from the side that’s been accused of ballot harvesting and endless mail-in schemes.

Let’s step back: Abrams has built her career on denying election results herself. Remember her refusal to concede in 2018? Now she’s the guardian of democracy? This hypocrisy reeks of the swamp’s double standards, where leftists can question votes all day, but conservatives asking for transparency get labeled threats.

Trump’s push for election integrity isn’t about takeover—it’s about fixing a broken system riddled with fraud concerns that millions of Americans share. From mysterious ballot dumps to unsecured drop boxes, the 2020 mess left scars, and ignoring that just fuels distrust.

In Georgia, where Abrams hails from, voters have seen firsthand how lax rules can invite chaos. Trump’s team isn’t seizing power; they’re demanding accountability to ensure every legal vote counts and illegals don’t dilute the voice of citizens.

This isn’t authoritarianism—it’s patriotism in action. While Abrams frets over imaginary takeovers, real issues like inflation, crime waves in Democrat-run cities, and open borders are the true assaults on American freedom.

Her warnings about 2026 and 2028? Pure projection. The left knows their grip is slipping as populists rise, fed up with globalist agendas that sell out working folks.
