FBI caught spying on this Republican in a wild move

The FBI has always had Deep State actors in it. But the rot is deeper than you think.

And the FBI was caught spying on this Republican in a wild move.

In a stunning revelation that highlights the weaponization of federal agencies against conservatives, newly uncovered FBI documents show that agents tailed Republican Congressman Scott Perry from Pennsylvania right up to his congressional office and personal home. This happened just weeks before they swooped in to grab his cell phone as part of a massive investigation into alleged 2020 election interference.

The operation, codenamed “Arctic Frost,” zeroed in on almost 100 entities linked to Republicans following Donald Trump’s defeat. These unclassified documents, reviewed by the New York Post, paint a picture of a bureau hell-bent on tracking down anyone who dared question the election results.

One chilling FBI note spells it out plainly: “Goal from surveillance is to get a pattern of life, identify his vehicle, and possibly identify a location to serve him with a SW [seizure warrant].” It’s clear they were building a dossier on Perry’s every move to make their raid as seamless as possible.

Agents kept tabs on Perry starting July 25, 2022, logging his activities at his residence “just south of Harrisburg,” Pennsylvania, and at two separate workplaces in Washington, D.C. Then, on August 4, they followed him to a “recreation center” in the capital, treating a sitting congressman like a common criminal.

These explosive files first landed in the hands of House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan from Ohio, who’s been leading the charge in scrutinizing this so-called “sensitive election law investigation.” Jordan’s team is demanding answers about why the FBI treated Perry like an enemy of the state.

Russell Dye, spokesman for Jordan, stated: “Why were apparently undercover FBI agents surveilling Rep. Perry while representing his constituents at the US Capitol?” He slammed it as “a glaring separation-of-powers concern,” pointing to the blatant disregard for congressional independence.

Dye fired off more tough questions: “Was this something approved by Speaker Pelosi? Was it approved by the Democrat’s sham January 6th Committee? Should other Members be concerned that they were being watched for carrying out their constitutional duties?” It’s a wake-up call for every Republican lawmaker out there.

According to the documents, the FBI did notify the Office of Congressional Affairs about their plans to interview Perry, but that hardly excuses the covert tailing that preceded it. This reeks of a coordinated effort to intimidate dissenters.

Just five days after the final surveillance entry, on August 9, 2022, the FBI struck while Perry was on vacation in New Jersey during congressional recess. They executed the warrant and seized his phone without a heads-up.

The timing couldn’t be more suspicious—it came one day after the raid on President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. Agents even plotted to secretly record an interview with Perry on the same day, showing how far they’d go to trap him.

Perry didn’t hold back in his response to Fox News: “They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish.” He called out the blatant disrespect for due process.

The congressman doubled down: “I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress.” It’s a direct assault on privacy and freedom.

Perry emphasized the personal toll: “My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business.”

At the time, Perry led the House Freedom Caucus, a powerhouse group of conservatives fighting for limited government and accountability. He had refused to bend the knee to the Democrats’ Jan. 6 select committee probing the 2021 Capitol events, standing firm against their witch hunt.

The Arctic Frost probe honed in on Pennsylvania’s push to seat 20 alternate electors for Trump and Pence instead of Biden. FBI files claim this was pushed by the Trump campaign, and they accuse Perry of linking then-Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Clark with Trump to potentially install Clark as acting AG after Bill Barr stepped down.

Additionally, agents dug up texts from Perry to Pennsylvania lawmakers who penned a December 30, 2020, letter urging Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to challenge the election certification.

In the end, stories like Perry’s expose the rot in U.S. institutions. It’s time for real reforms to dismantle the deep state and restore trust in government for everyday Americans.
