Former high-ranking Trump admin official raided by FBI in sudden development

Donald Trump isn’t a stranger to being raided by the FBI. But now those around him are getting a taste.

Because a former Trump admin official has just had their house raided by the FBI.

FBI agents stormed the Washington-area residence of former National Security Adviser John Bolton early Friday, executing a search warrant in a major classified documents investigation that’s sending shockwaves through the deep state establishment.

The raid targeted Bolton’s home in Bethesda, Maryland, kicking off at 7 a.m. under direct orders from FBI Director Kash Patel, according to a high-ranking Trump administration source who spoke to The Post.

Patel, a staunch Trump loyalist now leading the FBI, hinted at the operation on X with a pointed message: “NO ONE is above the law… @FBI agents on mission.” This probe into mishandled classified materials dates back years, but insiders say the Biden crew buried it for purely political motives, shielding one of their anti-Trump darlings.

A senior U.S. official confirmed that the investigation was revived under the new Trump administration, finally delivering accountability after the previous regime’s cover-ups. Even as agents combed through his property, Bolton’s X account fired off a post at 7:32 a.m. slamming Trump’s handling of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine:

“Russia has not changed its goal: drag Ukraine into a new Russian Empire. Moscow has demanded that Ukraine cede territory it already holds and the remainder of Donetsk, which it has been unable to conquer. Zelensky will never do so. Meanwhile, meetings will continue because Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize, but I don’t see these talks making any progress.”

Bolton’s history with sensitive information has long been under scrutiny, especially after his 2020 tell-all book, The Room Where It Happened, which critics say spilled national secrets.

Trump battled fiercely to block the book’s release, arguing Bolton violated a strict nondisclosure agreement tied to his White House role, but courts let it proceed anyway. The Justice Department under Trump’s first term kicked off a formal inquiry into the book back in September 2020, laying the groundwork for today’s developments.

The bad blood between Bolton and Trump traces back to 2019, when the president fired his national security adviser after clashing over key policies like Afghanistan and Venezuela, where Bolton’s hawkish stance clashed with Trump’s America First priorities.

Trump publicly blasted Bolton as a “liar” and someone the entire White House despised, especially after Bolton’s book painted the president in a harsh light, accusing him of seeking foreign election help and lacking a coherent philosophy.

Bolton, in turn, has relentlessly attacked Trump as “unfit” for office, even refusing to back him in elections and warning that another term would endanger the republic.

In the second Trump administration, tensions have only escalated, with Bolton using media appearances to trash the president’s foreign policy moves, from Ukraine negotiations to tariffs on nations like India for buying Russian oil.

Recent posts from Bolton reveal his ongoing obsession, criticizing Trump for being too soft on Putin and risking alliances by inconsistent trade penalties that push countries toward China and Russia.

Trump struck back by revoking Bolton’s Secret Service protection earlier this year, amid Iranian threats, signaling the end of any special treatment for the disgruntled ex-adviser.

This raid follows Patel’s bombshell revelation Thursday about ex-FBI Director James Comey greenlighting classified leaks while deceiving Congress ahead of the 2016 vote.

Patel has vowed to purge corruption from federal agencies and unmask long-hidden scandals, putting globalist insiders like Bolton on notice. For Trump supporters, this move exemplifies the promise to drain the swamp, holding even former allies accountable if they cross the line into betrayal.
