Newsom is as slimy of a politician as they come. There’s no doubting that.
And Gavin Newsom’s latest actions have caused a nightmare for these Americans.
In California’s upscale Fair Oaks suburb, Governor Gavin Newsom’s lavish parties at his sprawling mansion are sparking outrage among everyday residents. These high-society gatherings leave locals dealing with blocked streets and zero regard for their daily lives.
The latest fiasco unfolded on a Tuesday evening, when a swarm of SUVs descended on the area. Parked illegally in no-parking zones, they created total chaos on the narrow roads of this Sacramento enclave.
Neighbor Andrea Marrapodi didn’t hold back in describing the mess. “They were parking there all day and it was making it hard to turn,” she said, highlighting how the elite guests’ rides turned simple drives into obstacles.
Frustrated, Marrapodi approached the security detail multiple times. “I asked security three times very nicely, saying ‘you’re blocking traffic in the neighborhood.’ They said they’d move [the vehicles] but never did,” she recounted, exposing the empty promises from Newsom’s team.
Her final take summed up the sentiment: “They don’t seem to really care about the neighbors.”
A viral TikTok video captured the scene perfectly – a long line of cars jammed up against a clear “No parking at any time” sign. This isn’t just inconvenient; it’s a real danger for families trying to maneuver through their own streets.
Newsom’s spokesperson, Izzy Gardon, fired back with a snarky response that drips with liberal condescension.
“DONALD TRUMP HAS MADE AMERICA SO DIVIDED THAT NEIGHBORS NOW DECLARE WAR ON CHRISTMAS, ONE PARKED CAR AT A TIME!” Gardon quipped in a statement to the New York Post.
And she didn’t stop there: “MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF CALIFORNIA, EVEN THE GRINCHES!!” It’s the kind of mocking tone that shows how out of touch these Sacramento insiders really are.
The Newsom family scooped up this 12,000-square-foot, six-bedroom estate on an 8-acre lot back in 2019. But they didn’t stick around long, upgrading to a $9 million pad in ritzy Kentfield, leaving the Fair Oaks spot as their go-to venue for fundraisers and schmoozing events, per Marrapodi.
She says say it’s become a constant thorn in the side of the residents who live in the neighborhood. The property, just 15 miles from downtown Sacramento, disrupts the serene vibe of the neighborhood every time Newsom decides to host.
“They’re valeting cars all over the place so people who live here don’t have anywhere to park,” Marrapodi pointed out.
The day after the party was no better. “And all day yesterday it was cleaning up the event, with loud trucks, parking, people screaming,” she added.
In the past, Newsom’s wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom tried to smooth things over by dropping off bottles of wine to apologize for crowds of protesters, according to Marrapodi. But this time around, no such gesture.
Marrapodi recalled other headaches, like a fundraiser with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz last year. Heavy security turned the street into a no-go zone, forcing her to scrap important meetings because she couldn’t even get to her own house.
Adding insult to injury, law enforcement vehicles providing round-the-clock protection for the governor just sit there idling. “When they moved to Marin we thought it would calm down,” Marrapodi said, but the disruptions keep coming.
