The political class is terrified of Trump. He keeps growing stronger.
Especially after this Governor announced an unprecedented alliance with Trump.
The deportation plans from Donald Trump and his incoming administration allies are scaring the corporate elites, the political class, and the media talking heads. It is keeping them up at night thinking about their globalist agenda taking such a serious blow at the hands of Donald Trump.
What the Left, the corporatists, and the globalists don’t understand, though, is the fact that the current movement in America is one back towards traditional American values of freedom and American sovereignty. Americans are sick of being told by the ever-growing bureaucratic machine that nothing can be done about the illegal immigration crisis and that they just have to deal with it.
That’s why we’re at a point when the vast majority of Americans indicate in surveys that they are supportive of deportations more than ever. Americans, both native-born and legal immigrants, are fed up with the bull(you-know-what) that they’ve been fed for years now.
So it’s not just Trump. There’s plenty of conservatives throughout the Republican Party that are locking arms with Trump. The latest example is Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, who is working with Trump on plans to deport illegal immigrants who are already in state prisons in the state of Oklahoma.
Oklahoma’s Plan to Deport Criminal Illegal Immigrants: A Strong Stand for Rule of Law and Public Safety
Oklahoma’s Republican Governor, Kevin Stitt, is taking a bold stand against illegal immigration by announcing the state’s plans to deport criminal illegal immigrants currently in custody in state prisons. This initiative aligns with President-elect Donald Trump’s commitment to address the ongoing issue of illegal immigration in America. Governor Stitt has directed the state’s commissioner of public safety to develop a comprehensive plan to expel these individuals, with the final plan set to be delivered by January. The state will also collaborate with the incoming Trump administration to ensure the execution of this plan.
Governor Stitt emphasized that the action is not only practical but also a matter of common sense and restoring the rule of law. In an interview with reporters, he made it clear that this initiative targets individuals who are in the U.S. illegally and have committed crimes. He stated, “So these are people that are here illegally, that have committed crimes, and we want to make sure that they’re not burdensome to the taxpayers of the state of Oklahoma.”
Oklahoma’s correctional facilities currently house over 500 criminal illegal immigrants, costing taxpayers an estimated $36,000 per day. Governor Stitt argued that deporting these individuals would reduce this financial burden while also making Oklahoma safer. This is especially relevant given the strain illegal immigration places on both state and national resources.
This action comes as part of a broader plan championed by President Trump, who has pledged to launch a mass deportation operation next year. Some Democrats, particularly in sanctuary jurisdictions, have opposed this move, but Governor Stitt expressed surprise at the backlash. He pointed out that the focus of the operation is on removing criminals — those who pose a threat to public safety and national security — rather than targeting law-abiding immigrants.
Stitt explained, “What’s amazing to me is you have some Democrat governors that are now talking about not supporting President Trump, and I don’t think they learned anything from the election, that the American people want safe communities, and we want to have strong borders.”
He also made the case that it is hard to argue against deporting individuals who are in the country illegally, especially those who have committed serious crimes, such as trafficking fentanyl, r*pe, or burglary. “When you think about someone that’s here illegally, that’s breaking the law, that’s pushing fentanyl, or they have been convicted of r*pe or burglary, and they’re not U.S. citizens, and they’re here illegally. I don’t know who could argue with me on ‘We want to make sure that those people are out of our country and not allowed to return,’” Stitt said.
Though Oklahoma is not a border state, Governor Stitt pointed out that the state has still felt the effects of the ongoing crisis at the southern border. The state has experienced a 500% increase in fentanyl-related deaths since he took office. Stitt also referenced the recent foiled Election Day terror plot, noting that the suspect was living in Oklahoma, further emphasizing the national security risks posed by illegal immigration.
Despite his strong stance against illegal immigration, Governor Stitt made it clear that he is not against immigration in general. He expressed support for those who come to the U.S. legally, citing examples such as foreign students attending the University of Oklahoma on an education visa.
“If you’re at the University of Oklahoma on an education visa, we certainly want to be able to convert that to a workforce visa if we have an employer that needs that job, and if you want to chase the American dream, if you want to be part of paying taxes, part of our society, then we absolutely want to work that angle as well,” Stitt said.
Looking ahead, Governor Stitt remains optimistic about the future under the leadership of President Trump. He believes that the American people have clearly spoken in favor of stronger immigration enforcement and safer communities. “I think the American people have spoken loud and clear with Trump’s victory that they believe in safe communities,” Stitt said. “And so I think it’s just the right thing to do, and I’m excited about some of the Cabinet picks that President Trump has put in place, and it’s going to be, it’s going to be a fresh day for America.”
Governor Stitt’s plan to deport criminal illegal immigrants is a step toward reinforcing the rule of law, protecting taxpayers, and ensuring public safety. With the support of President Trump’s administration, Oklahoma is taking a firm stand in the fight against illegal immigration and the threats it poses to communities across the nation.
