As if the vice president needed anymore bad news. She can’t seem to escape it.
And now a humiliating video of Kamala Harris comes back to bite her.
Vice President Kamala Harris held a livestream intended to thank her supporters and grassroots volunteers, but instead of rallying spirits, her remarks seemed to leave many feeling more discouraged and frustrated than before.
During the event, held alongside Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Harris told attendees, “I’m proud of the race we ran,” and emphasized, “we still have a lot to fight for.”
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz just called together all their supporters for a Zoom call.

Yet, her words failed to inspire, leaving many supporters deflated, underwhelmed, and, in some cases, outright angry.
“Feeling even more defeated,” one participant lamented as Harris wrapped up her speech. Another chimed in, “That was such a waste, why did they even call this?”
The despondency continued with one supporter adding, “Trump’s about to be a dictator. And our voices won’t matter.”
Frustration boiled over in some comments, including one that read, “You could have saved my hope and sent a thank you text. Geez, you people beg me for my time, my money, my hope. I am gobsmacked at the thoughtlessness, but I shouldn’t be so naive.”
Harris’ brief speech, which lasted only ten minutes and offered no clear calls to action or rallying points, puzzled many of her supporters.
Instead, it recycled much of the messaging from the Democrats’ concession remarks.
While she vaguely insisted their movement was not over, Harris failed to outline any specific ways for her audience to stay involved, offering little beyond thanks to those who “called in favors.”
“You called in favors, you said, ‘Hey, I showed up at your softball game, now I need you to show up at the campaign office,’” she said, a remark that seemed to resonate awkwardly with her disheartened audience.
The announcement of the livestream had raised hopes among some supporters, with a few speculating that Harris might deliver groundbreaking news or unveil a strategy to challenge the election results.
One particularly optimistic commenter noted, “‘Outcome of this election is not what we wanted’ – notice she didn’t say ‘we lost’ – WE GET IT – you can’t show your hand. That felon is going down.”
Others clung to similar theories.
“Kamala, I absolutely still see you taking office on 1/20,” one supporter wrote, while another pleaded in all caps, “WE CAN’T HAVE ANOTHER 4 YEARS OF TRUMP!!! TAKE HIM DOWN NOW!!!!!”
Calls for recounts in swing states and accusations that Trump “cheated with the help of Elon Musk” peppered the chat, revealing a mix of desperation and anger among Harris’ base.
What was intended to be a moment of gratitude and unity instead highlighted the growing despair and disillusionment within the ranks of Harris’ supporters, who were left questioning not only the purpose of the livestream but the future of their movement.
