Identity of classified intel leaker is finally exposed for all to see

Americans need to start defending their country. Instead, many are trying to make a quick buck through her enemies.

Now the identity of a classified intel leaker is finally exposed for all to see.

Protecting National Security Through Swift Accountability

Federal authorities are taking strong action to defend America’s military secrets, as a former Army civilian employee with top-secret clearance has been indicted for allegedly leaking sensitive national defense information.

Courtney Williams, 40, who worked for a special military unit at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, from 2010 to 2016, faces charges of transmitting classified details—including Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)—to a journalist between 2022 and 2025.

This case underscores a clear commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that those entrusted with America’s most sensitive information do not compromise the safety of U.S. troops and operations.

FBI Director Kash Patel delivered a firm message: “This FBI will not tolerate those who seek to betray our country and put Americans in harm’s way.” He added that the arrest should “serve as a message to any would-be leakers: we’re working these cases, and we’re making arrests.”

Details of the Alleged Unauthorized Disclosures

According to the indictment, Williams communicated with journalist Seth Harp through phone calls and text messages, providing statements that contained classified national defense information. Some of this material reportedly appeared in Harp’s August 2025 Politico magazine article and related book, with statements directly attributed to Williams. The information concerned operations of an elite special military unit, raising serious concerns about potential risks to U.S. forces.

After the publication, Williams expressed regret in text messages, writing to the journalist: “I wish you had sent me a copy of what was to be published prior to publishing … I would definitely have been concerned with the amount of classified information being disclosed.”

She added that she thought certain details “would not be published and it feels like an entire TTP was sent out in my name.” In messages to her mother, she acknowledged the possibility of arrest “for disclosing classified information.”

Strengthening America’s Defenses Against Insider Threats

This development highlights the vital importance of maintaining strict control over classified information in an era when global adversaries constantly seek any advantage.

By holding individuals accountable, America sends a powerful signal that betraying the public trust—especially when it involves elite military capabilities—will not be tolerated.

The case also serves as a reminder of the high standards expected from those who serve or support the U.S. military. While Williams was profiled in media outlets exploring allegations of misconduct within the unit, the core issue remains the unauthorized release of sensitive operational details that could endanger American lives and national interests.

Strong enforcement like this reinforces confidence in America’s institutions and helps ensure that the men and women defending the nation can operate with the security and edge they deserve. Protecting classified information is not just a legal obligation—it is essential to keeping America strong, secure, and one step ahead of any threats.
