The Obamas were thought to be untouchable. Now that’s changing.
Because incriminating evidence of Barack Obama could send him running for the hills.
Exposing Obama Administration’s Misleading Narrative
Declassified documents released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on July 18, reveal that the Obama administration manipulated intelligence to falsely suggest Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, undermining President Donald Trump’s legitimate victory.
Gabbard stated:
“The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government. Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people.”
The documents, including a December 8, 2016, Presidential Daily Brief, explicitly stated, “We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure,” contradicting later claims by Obama officials that Russia sought to influence the election outcome.
Contradictory Intelligence and Political Maneuvering
Throughout 2016, intelligence assessments, including those from the CIA, FBI, NSA, and DHS, consistently found that Russia was “probably not trying…to influence the election by using cyber means,” as noted in then-DNI James Clapper’s December 7, 2016, talking points:
“Foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the U.S. presidential election outcome.”
Yet, a December 9, 2016, White House Situation Room meeting, attended by Clapper, CIA Director John Brennan, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, Secretary of State John Kerry, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, led to a directive to produce a new Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA).
Released on January 6, 2017, this ICA claimed Russian interference, contradicting earlier findings.
Intelligence officials told Fox News Digital that the ICA “suppressed intelligence from before and after the election showing Russia lacked intent and capability to hack the 2016 election,” relying instead on discredited sources like the Steele Dossier, which former CIA Director Brennan pushed for inclusion despite its “internet rumor” status.
Consequences of Politicized Intelligence
The Obama administration’s actions, including leaking “false statements to media outlets” about Russian interference, fueled the Trump-Russia collusion probe, leading to the Mueller investigation, two impeachments, and heightened U.S.-Russia tensions.
Gabbard condemned this as an “egregious abuse of power and blatant rejection of our Constitution,” asserting, “No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again.”
Trump, reacting to ongoing investigations into Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey, stated, “I think they’re very dishonest people. I think they’re crooked as h*ll. And, maybe they have to pay a price for that. I believe they are truly bad people and dishonest people. So whatever happens, happens.”
