JD Vance goes scorched earth on Leftist governor in viral rant

Vance isn’t one to mess around. He’s not afraid to stand firm for what he believes in.

And JD Vance went scorched earth on a Leftist governor in a viral rant.

Vice President JD Vance unleashed a blistering attack on California Governor Gavin Newsom, accusing him of stoking violence against law enforcement after a deadly shooting at an ICE facility in Dallas. The assault, which left one migrant detainee dead and two others wounded, has ignited a firestorm over the Left’s reckless rhetoric and its real-world consequences.

Speaking at an event in Concord, North Carolina, Vance didn’t mince words. “The very people who keep us safe ought to be honored and protected and praised by Democrats and Republicans alike,” he declared, standing tall for the men and women who put their lives on the line. His comments came after Newsom’s appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where the governor smeared the Trump administration as an “authoritarian government.”

Vance called out Newsom’s dangerous game, warning that his inflammatory words are a direct incitement to chaos.

“It is time to stop the rhetorical assaults on law enforcement — because here’s what happens when Democrats, like [California Gov.] Gavin Newsom, say that these people are part of an authoritarian government; when the left-wing media lies about what they’re doing; when they lie about who they’re arresting; when they lie about the actual job of law enforcement, what they’re doing is encouraging crazy people to go and commit violence,” he said, laying bare the stakes of this divisive rhetoric.

“You don’t have to agree with my immigration policies, you don’t have to agree with Donald Trump’s immigration policies, but if your political rhetoric encourages violence against our law enforcement, you can go straight to h*ll and you have no place in the political conversation of the United States of America.”

The Dallas shooting drives home the grim reality. Joshua Jahn, opened fire from a nearby rooftop, targeting an unmarked van carrying migrant detainees.

One person was k*lled, two others injured, and Jahn took his own life as police closed in. The chilling detail? “ANTI-ICE” written on unspent shell casings that were discovered near his body, per officials. This likely wasn’t a random act—it was a violent outburst fueled by the anti-law enforcement sentiment peddled by progressive elites like Newsom.

Newsom’s response? A smug social media jab at Vance: “No thanks, JD. I will not be going ‘straight to h*ll’ today. Though when I watch you speak I certainly feel like I’m already there.” The flippant tone shows a governor more interested in clever quips than addressing the bloodshed his words may have inspired.

On Colbert’s stage, Newsom claimed that Americans are “losing confidence and trust in law enforcement” because of Trump’s immigration policies.

He spun wild tales of federal agents pulling guns on disabled teens and “masked men jumping out of unmarked cars. People disappearing. No due process. No oversight. Zero accountability. Happening in the United States of America today.” It’s the kind of dramatic fiction that plays well to a late-night crowd but crumbles under scrutiny.

Newsom’s rhetoric isn’t just irresponsible—it’s dangerous. By painting ICE agents as villains, he’s giving a green light to unhinged radicals like Jahn. The “ANTI-ICE” message at the crime scene is a direct echo of the Left’s anti-law enforcement crusade.

Let’s be clear: law enforcement isn’t the problem. These are the heroes who stand between order and anarchy, risking everything to keep communities safe. Newsom’s claims of “authoritarian actions” are nothing but fearmongering, designed to score political points while ignoring the real threats—human traffickers, drug cartels, and illegal crossings that strain the system.

The Dallas tragedy is a wake-up call. When leaders like Newsom use their platforms to trash law enforcement, they’re not just playing politics—they’re endangering lives. The blood on the ground in Dallas is a stark reminder of what happens when words turn into weapons. Jahn’s attack wasn’t an isolated incident; it was the product of a culture that glorifies rebellion against the rule of law.

Vance’s call to honor law enforcement is a rallying cry for common sense. Americans—regardless of background—want safe streets, secure borders, and leaders who stand with the good guys. Newsom’s refusal to back down, even after a deadly attack, shows he’s more interested in pandering to the progressive mob than protecting the public.

The Left’s war on law enforcement has gone too far, and the consequences are deadly. Newsom needs to own the weight of his words and stop fueling the fire.

As Vance put it, those who encourage violence against America’s protectors have no place in this nation’s future.
