Jill Biden confesses a disturbing truth about Joe that changes everything

The Bidens have been licking their wounds for months. Now they’re back in the spotlight.

And Jill Biden confessed a disturbing truth about Joe that changes everything.

First Lady Jill Biden shared on Monday that she believes her husband, President Biden, made the right decision in stepping out of the 2024 race.

“It’s time for something new,” she told ABC News’ Deborah Roberts.

“It was the right call.”

The president’s announcement in late July to end his re-election bid followed growing pressure from within the Democratic Party and a challenging debate performance against former President Trump in June.

Reflecting on their time in the White House, Jill Biden said, “I’ve had such a great four years. And Joe and I, I mean really, it has been the honor of our lives. It’ll be tough to maybe step away from it, but we’re starting a new chapter of our lives. A new journey.”

After five decades in politics, Jill Biden expressed a sense of readiness for what comes next.

“We’ve been in politics 50 years. I think we’re ready for the new journey,” she added.

Following the June debate between Biden and Trump, which drew sharp criticism, Jill Biden stood by her husband.

She reassured him on stage, “Joe, you did such a great job! You answered every question, you knew all the facts!”

In an interview with Vogue, she made it clear they wouldn’t let that single debate define Biden’s presidency, saying:

“We will continue to fight,” and emphasizing that her husband “will always do what’s best for the country.”

Despite his initial resistance to the growing calls for him to step down — at one point vowing he wouldn’t drop out unless commanded by the “Lord Almighty” — President Biden finally made the decision on July 21 to bow out and threw his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris.

Jill Biden has since taken to the campaign trail, rallying for Harris in critical swing states like Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

During her Good Morning America interview, she expressed confidence in Harris’ chances against Trump in the upcoming election.

“There’s a lot of energy out there,” she said.

“Kamala Harris is going to win this, and it’s going to be just another chapter for the White House.”
