President Biden has made a ton of promises over the years. But this betrayal is just disgusting.
As Joe Biden’s been convicted for a war crime that has all of Washington, D.C. in a frenzy.
In 2023, the Biden administration launched a number of aerial strikes on Syria to target those who the Biden White House officials believed to be terrorists connected to the infamous Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda.
Initially, the Biden administration tried to claim that the strikes were entirely successful and that one of the top al-Qaeda leaders was k*lled during one of the air strikes. Shortly after the attacks in May 2023, however, the Biden administration admitted that they weren’t sure that they got their target.
The Washington Post wrote a stunning piece on the matter titled “U.S. officials walk back claim drone strike k*lled senior al-Qaeda leader” that detailed how the U.S. federal government led by Joe Biden was getting its messaging crossed.
Pentagon officials were reporting that though there was evidence that their strike had actually k*lled a man other than the terrorist they were targeting, the man that perished was actually probably still a terrorist. Their argument was that the man k*lled had “connections” to al-Qaeda and “probably” other terrorist groups. They even claimed that the whole family was guilty of this.
Interestingly, there was no evidence for their claims. In fact, his family said that he was a retired bricklayer who had nothing to do with any Muslim extremism.
The Washington Post reported back on May 18:
Lotfi Hassan Misto, 56, whose family identified him as the victim of a Hellfire missile attack on May 3, was a former bricklayer who lived quietly in this town in northwest Syria, according to interviews with his brother, son and six others who knew him. They described a kind, hard-working man whose “whole life was spent poor.”
According to The Washington Post article, Mr. Lofti Misto was simply feeding his sheep when he was hit with a barrage of missiles at the order of the Biden administration.
Fast forward to today, and the U.S. military’s investigation of this matter has concluded that the man was in fact innocent. He wasn’t a terrorist who the Biden administration was originally after. He perished unfairly.
On May 3rd, the U.S. Central Command released a press statement saying that they are acknowledging that it was Mr. Lufti who was wrongfully m*rdered in cold blood because of the failed strike from Joe Biden and his Democrat lackeys.
The U.S. Central Command report reads:
The investigation determined U.S. forces misidentified the intended Al Qaeda target and that a civilian, Mr. Lutfi Hasan Masto (Masto), was struck and k*lled instead. Many of the facts and other findings of the investigation involve classified information and cannot be shared publicly.
This was pretty well known already, but what’s shocking about the report is that it goes on to say that the Biden administration’s military effort followed all protocol and was not out of compliance with the law. They only say that some operations could be “improved.”
What we can share is the investigation concluded the strike was conducted in compliance with the law of armed conflict as well as Department of Defense and CENTCOM policies. However, the investigation revealed several issues that could be improved. We are committed to learning from this incident and improving our targeting processes to mitigate potential civilian harm.
The report goes on to give lip service to how “sorry” the Biden administration is for a civilian perishing wrongfully, but the damage is done and they aren’t doing anything about it. Yes, it’s true that war is ugly and sometimes there is collateral damage that takes the lives of those who are innocent.
But at one point in American history, the Democrat Party was largely vocal about putting an end to these pre-emptive military strikes that have such a low success rate and such a high collateral damage rate. How the tables have turned. Now it’s Joe Biden and the Democrats who are showing their war-hawk colors.
Every U.S. President since FDR has been involved in some sort of military campaign that likely had some unfortunate outcomes where innocent people suffered. But Joe Biden and the Democrats tried to hide their war crimes. The Washington Post report from May 2023 notes how the Pentagon went on record trying to pass Mr. Lofti Hassan Misto as an al-Qaeda terrorist who probably should’ve died anyway. How disgusting.
Tulsi Gabbard was completely right when she left the Democrat Party for good and warned everyone of the war-mongering addiction that the Democrats have today.
