Joe Biden is biting his nails over what he was ordered to do for Trump

President Biden has put himself in a corner. He has no way out.

Because Joe Biden is biting his nails over what he’s been ordered to do for Trump.

President Biden deciding to pardon his own son has opened a pandora’s box that he may not have been prepared to deal with. Certainly, the Democrats are not going to be prepared to deal with the political blowback from the pardon of Hunter given that Joe Biden is at the end of his career. He will ride off into the sunset, completely unaware of the political chaos he’s created.

One of the common reactions to Joe Biden pardoning his own son Hunter has been that President Biden now needs to consider pardoning Donald Trump as well. The Democrats are worried that if he doesn’t do this, the move to pardon Hunter will remain as a stain of hypocrisy against the Democrats for years and years to come. The American people are already not very cozy with the Democrats, considering their devastating losses in the elections.

It’s not just disconnected political pundits, who are desperately trying to keep the Democrat Party together with duct tape at this point, making this claim either. Apparently, close allies to Joe Biden and his team are pleading with him to make the right move and pardon Donald Trump of the ridiculous charges that were brought against him leading up to the 2024 election in an attempt to derail a second Trump term in office.

U.S. House Democrat Pleads With Biden Staff For Trump Pardon

On Thursday, Democratic Representative Jim Clyburn of South Carolina revealed that he has encouraged President Joe Biden’s staff to consider issuing a “preemptive” pardon for former President Donald Trump. Clyburn, who played a pivotal role in Biden’s 2020 primary victory with his influential endorsement, is among a growing group of prominent Democrats suggesting that Biden should extend a pardon to Trump. This discussion gained renewed attention after Biden’s recent pardon of his son, Hunter, on Sunday.

Speaking on NewsNation’s The Hill, Clyburn explained that while he has not yet discussed the matter directly with President Biden, he has shared his thoughts with members of the president’s team. He emphasized the need for Biden to consider issuing multiple “preemptive pardons,” including one for Trump, in an effort to move past divisive national issues.

“I have not urged the president directly, but I did have that discussion with the members of his staff that I thought he ought to do that,” Clyburn said. “I think we need to clear the air in this country … I think that we are trying to run a government on behalf of all the people of this country, and if we spend all of our time going forward pursuing Trump or Trump pursuing [Former Wyoming Republican Rep.] Liz Cheney, special counsel Jack Smith, Dr. [Anthony] Fauci, that is what we need to get off the table.”

Clyburn’s suggestion echoes similar sentiments expressed by the hosts of the Left-wing podcast Pod Save America, who recently floated the idea of Biden pardoning figures like Cheney and Fauci in light of his son’s pardon.

“And so, I’ve asked the president’s people to consider preemptive pardons for all those people, get it off the table. Get it off the table, because I know Donald Trump and I think the country knows Donald Trump,” Clyburn continued. “And as soon as he gets to the point where he can get the credit for it, he’ll do it. And so I asked the president to move forward doing this.”

Clyburn noted that Biden’s staff had taken his suggestion seriously and promised to pass it on to the president. “And so I’m waiting to hear what the president’s response might be,” he added.

The idea of pardoning Trump has also gained traction among other public figures. On Monday, NewsNation host Chris Cuomo and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith both called for Biden to pardon the former president, arguing that it was time to put the past behind the country. “Enough’s enough. You know what? You’re the Democrats, you lost the election. You got your butt whipped,” Smith remarked during a conversation with Cuomo. “You couldn’t prevent him from going back to the White House. You know, more than a dozen cases have been dropped against him. The cases that have been ruled against him, he’s going to appeal, and he’ll probably get off from having to deal with all of that. It’s time to move forward.”

Momentum Growing For Joe Biden To Pardon Trump And Unify

In Joe Biden’s statement release with the announcement that he would be pardoning his own son, Biden said that the main reason he was giving Hunter the pardon is because of his opinion that he would not have been charged if it wasn’t for his last name being Biden.

That’s debatable, but certainly if it applies there then it applies ten fold for Donald Trump. Everyone and their mother knows that Donald Trump was hit with countless legal attacks simply because of his decision to remain in the race for President in 2024. Thus, if Joe Biden wants to play fair, he should apply the same standard for Trump and give him the clemency he deserves.

Many political commentators, journalists, and everyday Americans agree that this would be a signal that the Democrat Party may be willing to work with the Republicans in the future rather than continuing to create a divide between the Democrat elites and the rest of the nation.
