Kamala Harris causes civil war to break out with one statement

Vice President Harris says she’s a “uniter.” But she’s already tearing the nation in two.

And Kamala Harris has now caused civil war to break out by putting out this one statement.

Last week, the streets of Washington, D.C. were filled with protesters and some rioters who were furious about the fact that Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was visiting the United States to give a speech in Congress. A number of Democrats decided to skip the speech, including Vice President Kamala Harris.

It’s clear that Kamala Harris wants to do what she can to keep the radical voting base that she has happy enough to turn out for her in November rather than sitting this election out and potentially handing Trump critical swing states like Michigan and Wisconsin. But this base that she wants to keep happy is so insane that they were burning American flags and desecrating monuments.

Average Americans who were watching this were getting sick of it all and were calling on Kamala Harris to say something. After 24 hours, she decided she simply couldn’t ignore it any longer, for political optics reasons. So she put out a statement online that was supposed to quell the fears that she aligns herself with these extremist demonstrators.

The funny part of this all is that her putting out a statement saying that she doesn’t believe burning American flags is helpful and that she condemns anti-semitism has only angered her voting base.

Democrats Go To War With Each Other Over Kamala Harris & Israel

On Sunday, Fox News’ MediaBuzz featured a heated exchange between Fox contributor Ben Domenech and Democratic strategist Laura Fink, centering on Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent actions regarding Israel. The discussion became particularly intense as they debated Harris’ decision to skip Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress and instead opt for a private meeting with him.

Domenech and Fink appeared on the show to discuss Harris’ positions as the Democratic Party’s new presumptive presidential nominee. Fink began by addressing Harris’ choice to forgo Netanyahu’s public speech, highlighting her preference for a direct, private discussion. “With respect to Netanyahu, she chose to miss the speech, she chose to meet with him personally and to lead the messaging from the White House on these issues. It shows she’s got an embrace of the facts, she’s taken—” Fink said before being interrupted by Domenech.

“An embrace of the facts?” Domenech interjected, questioning Fink’s statement. As Fink attempted to continue, emphasizing Harris’ connection with voters on the complex Palestine issue, Domenech’s interruptions persisted.

“I’ll just finish, Ben. Just one statement. She has a command of the facts and she’s connected with voters on the Palestinian issue and working to get humanitarian aid and—” Fink tried to complete her thought.

Domenech fired back, referencing a recent pro-Palestine protest in Washington, D.C., where demonstrators burned American flags. “Yeah, she’s connected with those voters burning the American flag in front of Union Station. I’m sorry that’s just gross, that’s absurd, that’s ridiculous. God, are you serious? Are you serious?”

The conversation became more heated as Fink responded with an exasperated, “Oh, sweet mercy,” and advised Domenech to “get control” of himself. Domenech continued to press, “She did that because she wanted to embrace the people that are burning the American flag?”

At this point, Fox host Howard Kurtz interjected to provide context, attempting to steer the conversation back on track. “I have to qualify that because she also put out a statement—” Kurtz began, only to be cut off by Domenech’s dismissal, “Yeah, a garbage statement!”

Following Netanyahu’s address to Congress, he held separate meetings with President Joe Biden and Vice President Harris to discuss the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. In response to the protest at Union Station, Harris released a statement on X (formerly Twitter) the following morning, condemning the flag-burning and distancing herself from the actions of the protestors.

“I condemn the burning of the American flag. That flag is a symbol of our highest ideals as a nation and represents the promise of America. It should never be desecrated in that way,” Harris wrote. “I support the right to peacefully protest, but let’s be clear: Antisemitism, hate and violence of any kind have no place in our nation.”
