The Harris campaign was a joke. But now there’s consequences to pay.
Because Kamala Harris was just slapped across the face with a two word condemnation.
There may be a few Democrat shills who are trying to play damage control and pretend like election night wasn’t a total nightmare for the Democrats politically. The truth is, though, that everyone knows it was a horrendous showing for the blue team. Donald Trump and the Republicans completely dominated the Democrats to the point that they walked away with total control of the White House, the House of Representatives, and the Senate.
It wasn’t just that they lost, either. It was the way they lost. The Democrats had been spending years demonizing Donald Trump only to watch him blow Kamala Harris, a candidate almost twenty years younger than Trump, out of the water and into oblivion. He won every single swing state convincingly. No shifting around of the electorate even remotely creates a path to victory for Kamala Harris.
This huge loss has been so bad that a number of Democrat officials are speaking their mind about the Kamala Harris campaign and about her as a candidate. They don’t have many nice things to say about her. If anything, they’re making it clear she’s effectively done with being an important figure in the Democrat Party.
Democrat Officials Plead With Kamala Harris To Go Away For Good
Kamala Harris’s political future has become a point of contention within the Democratic Party, and recent events have made it clear that her prospects for another presidential run should be permanently off the table. Following her loss to President-elect Donald Trump, Harris’s continued ambitions have been met with increasing skepticism, and many within her own party are urging her to step aside for the good of the party’s future.
On Wednesday, Democratic strategist Theryn Bond weighed in on Harris’s political future, advising that she should never again consider running for president. According to reports from Politico, Harris has discussed the possibility of running for president in 2028 or even launching a gubernatorial campaign in California, expressing her intention to remain in the political fight. Bond, however, believes that any presidential bid from Harris should be off the table, noting that her past advisers from her failed 2024 campaign should not be part of her future political plans.
“Her political ambitions should not be to run for president again in 2028, please don’t,” Bond told Newsmax during an appearance on National Report. Bond added that, while Harris may still have some political relevance in California, where she has significant support, her chances on the national stage have been irrevocably damaged by her previous loss. Bond went on to warn that if Harris continues to rely on the same advisers who led her campaign to failure, she is unlikely to have any better luck in the future.
Republican strategist Luke Ball echoed these sentiments, arguing that Harris’s political career is essentially over outside of California. “She couldn’t be elected to serve as a dog catcher anywhere except California,” Ball remarked, criticizing the exorbitant spending that defined Harris’s 2024 campaign.
Reports have shown that her campaign burned through more than $1.5 billion, including six-figure sums on celebrity interviews and event production. Notably, her campaign spent substantial resources on setting up an interview on Alex Cooper’s s*x-themed podcast, Call Her Daddy, and splurged on event production, spending more than $15 million.
The campaign’s reckless spending left the Democratic National Committee (DNC) facing substantial financial strain, with reports suggesting they may have been on the hook for large debts. This financial burden contributed to the DNC laying off hundreds of employees, although the party’s chief financial officer, Patrick Stauffer, disputed reports of massive debt. Stauffer claimed that as of Election Day, there were “no outstanding debts or bills overdue.”
So Harris never led in her internal polls. She knew she was losing, and yet still didn’t do an interview for six weeks after she got the nomination, so they basically didn’t even try to win.
Was the Harris campaign just one big cash grab by Dem operatives and consultants?

Despite this, Democratic figures are clearly disappointed by Harris’s lack of accountability. Lindy Li, a member of the DNC National Finance Committee, expressed her astonishment at Harris’s failure to take responsibility for the campaign’s lavish spending. Democratic donor John Morgan was even more critical, suggesting that the campaign’s fiscal mismanagement should mark the end of Harris’s political career altogether.
In addition to her financial missteps, Harris’s inability to secure key battleground states further tarnished her reputation. She lost all seven of the key battleground states to Trump, who also went on to win the popular vote, becoming the first Republican nominee since George W. Bush in 2004 to do so.
With these multiple failures — ranging from disastrous spending to poor electoral performance — Harris has become a liability for the Democratic Party. For many within her party, her political career is better off in the past, and it’s time for her to step aside and allow new leadership to take the helm. Kamala Harris’s time in the national spotlight may be over, and any hopes for a presidential comeback in 2028 should be put to rest for good.
HOLY SMOKES: Democrat mega-donor John Morgan says Kamala Harris’s political future is OVER after she completely botched her campaign.
“If you can’t run a campaign, you can’t run a country.”
When Chris Cuomo asked him if someone stole the donation money, Morgan replied, “Well,… pic.twitter.com/aFWIIIQ3XJ
