The VP Harris Fox interview went as expected. But one moment stands above the rest.
Because Kamala Harris shot herself in the foot when she called Trump this one word.
In a recent 25-minute interview on Fox News’ Special Report with Bret Baier, Vice President Kamala Harris grappled with key electoral issues that concern American voters, such as immigration, the economy, and President Joe Biden’s exit from the presidential race.
The discussion opened with immigration, a crucial topic for many Americans. When Baier pressed Harris about the number of illegal immigrants her administration has allowed into the country, she sidestepped the question, stating, “Bret, let’s just get to the point. The point is that we have a broken immigration system that needs to be repaired.”
Harris emphasized her administration’s commitment to reforming immigration, mentioning, “We recognized from Day One that, to the point of this being your first question, it is a priority for us as a nation and for the American people.” She outlined the administration’s efforts to improve the asylum system and increase penalties for illegal crossings, noting bipartisan support for measures aimed at strengthening border security.
Baier highlighted that the Biden-Harris administration has admitted approximately 6 million illegal immigrants, citing recent tragedies involving illegal immigrants, such as the deaths of Rachel Nungaray, Laken Riley, and Rachel Morin. Harris described these incidents as “tragic” and criticized former President Donald Trump for not backing a border security bill, asserting, “And I can’t imagine the pain that the families of those victims have experienced for a loss that should not have occurred.”
Despite being labeled the “border czar,” Harris avoided directly addressing whether she regretted the decision to roll back the “Remain in Mexico” policy, a measure established during Trump’s administration.
Baier also brought up a Trump campaign ad featuring Harris advocating for taxpayer-funded s*x-change surgeries for inmates, including illegal immigrants. When asked about her stance on the policy if she were president, Harris replied, “I will follow the law, and it’s a law that Donald Trump actually followed,” defending her position by referencing the availability of such surgeries under the Trump administration.
Kamala Harris Steps In It Big Time By Name-Calling Donald Trump
The interview took a heated turn when Baier questioned why Harris had not implemented her presidential platform during her time in office. He challenged her campaign slogan, asking, “Your campaign slogan is ‘a new way forward,’ and it’s time to turn the page. You’ve been vice president for three and a half years. So what are you turning the page from?”
Harris responded by criticizing the divisive rhetoric of the Trump era, stating, “Well, first of all, turning the page from the last decade in which we’ve been burdened with the kind of rhetoric coming from Donald Trump.”
Baier pointed out that a significant majority of Americans — 79 percent — believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. In response, Harris claimed, “the election for the president of the United States is not supposed to be easy.”
Baier pressed on, recalling her past comments on Biden’s mental acuity. “You called Donald Trump misguided, you say now he’s unstable—” to which Harris quickly affirmed, “He is unstable, Bret.”
The exchange intensified as Baier questioned her observations of Biden’s mental state during their regular meetings over the past three years. Harris defended Biden’s capability, stating, “Joe Biden I have watched in, from the Oval Office to the Situation Room, and he has the judgement and the experience to do exactly what he has done in making very important decisions on behalf of the American people.”
When asked whether she had concerns about Biden’s mental faculties, Harris redirected the focus to Trump, asserting, “I think the American people have a concern about Donald Trump.”
When given the chance to delineate her potential presidency from Biden’s, Harris stated firmly, “Let me be very clear. My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency.” Yet, she previously admitted, “There is not a thing that comes to mind” when asked what she might do differently from Biden, indicating her integral role in the current administration’s decisions.
To be clear, it was Kamala Harris who was the first one to defend Joe Biden after his horrible debate performance that made the nation collectively sick to its stomach that this man was the sitting President of the United States. Not only that, but she had been clearly covering up his sadly declining mental faculties for months, years even.
Kamala Harris literally fell for the most obvious trap ever.
Bret Baier seemingly empathized with Kamala's remarks for "unstable" Donald Trump and then used those same comments to ask her when she noticed Joe Biden's mental acuity was crumbling.
