As Americans struggle to make ends meet and the border is a humanitarian disaster, the Left is cutting deals with foreign governments. They don’t care about Americans.
And Kamala Harris sold out America to its greatest enemy with one shocking act.
The Democrat Party and Biden administration have been hard at work fighting against America’s interest.
Instead of focusing on the issues that affect the everyday American, they are more focused on their cultural pet projects and putting out fires caused by their numerous scandals.
Of these, China’s brazen spying over the American mainland is up there as one of the worst scandals in recent memory.
Thanks to Biden’s hesitancy, China was able to fly a spy balloon over the entirety of the continental United States for days until eventually being shot down over the Atlantic Ocean.
But now, Kamala Harris wants to let the Communists off the hook – saying there should be no repercussions.
During an interview with Politico on Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris stated that the US military shooting down a suspected Chinese spy balloon should not have an influence on diplomatic relations with communist China.
“I don’t think so, no,” she told the outlet while arguing the Biden administration seeks “competition” with Beijing and “not conflict or confrontation.”
The vice president also stated that she made similar remarks to Chinese communist dictator Xi Jinping at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation conference in Bangkok in November.
“Everything that has happened in the last week and a half is, we believe, very consistent with our stated approach,” she said.
Relations between China and the United States began to rise after the United States military shot down a Chinese vessel thought to be a surveillance aircraft over the Atlantic Ocean off the Carolina coast in early February.
Despite US authorities’ claims that it was a spy balloon with monitoring capabilities, China says that it was simply a weather balloon.
A senior State Department official said last Thursday that newly declassified intelligence showed that the equipment on the balloon was “inconsistent” with what would be aboard a weather balloon because it had “multiple antennas, to include an array likely capable of collecting and geo-locating communications.”
The same person also claimed that the balloon was “part of a PRC (People’s Republic of China) fleet of balloons developed to conduct surveillance operations” with a manufacturer tied to China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and that the U.S. “will also explore taking action against PRC entities linked to the PLA that supported the balloon’s incursion into U.S. airspace.”
According to multiple reports, the Biden administration would “consider” taking action against Chinese firms engaged in sending the surveillance balloon to the US.
Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously approved a resolution — on a 419-0 margin — “condemning the Chinese Communist Party’s use of a high-altitude surveillance balloon over United States territory” and labeled the situation “a brazen violation of United States sovereignty.”
According to Politico, the interview with Harris took place around 24 hours before she was supposed to leave the United States to lead a delegation to the Munich Security Conference, where China’s senior ambassador would also be present. According to Harris, the two have no plans to meet.
