Kamala Harris’s close aide raises eyebrows with disturbing comments about children

The truth about the Harris campaign is coming out. This one is truly sickening.

As Kamala Harris’s close aide has raised eyebrows with these disturbing comments about children.

The Left has been criticizing J.D. Vance for his comments about “childless cat ladies” trying to control the country, but the truth is he’s on the nose. The Kamala Harris campaign is filled with such individuals.

Not only that, but some Harris campaign officials believe that you shouldn’t be having kids at all right now because of so-called “climate change.” One very close aide to Harris has pushed the “anti-natalist” view that everyone should stop having kids immediately.

Camila Thorndike, the climate engagement director for Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign, has brought a controversial perspective to the forefront of the climate debate. Thorndike, a veteran environmentalist, once voiced concerns that the potential for widespread environmental destruction could be a valid reason to reconsider having children. This anti-natalist view is gaining traction among some younger environmental advocates, reflecting the growing fear about the future of the planet.

In a 2022 interview with The Washington Post, Thorndike revealed how climate change anxieties have influenced her personal hesitation about starting a family. “It’s coming partly from a place of love for my hypothetical child,” she said. “I want to protect them from suffering. Not that life is ever free from suffering, but…what of the joys and peace and goodness that make me happiest to be alive will be accessible in 20, 30, 40 years?”

Thorndike’s stance aligns with broader trends in progressive environmentalism, which suggest that a supposed looming climate catastrophe might deter some from having children. This sentiment has also been echoed by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a prominent figure among youth progressives. In 2019, Ocasio-Cortez called it a “legitimate question” to ask whether it was wise to have children given the worsening climate crisis.

The data supports this growing mindset. A February Ipsos survey found that 9 percent of U.S. adults aged 18-35 have delayed parenthood due to climate concerns. Additionally, a review of 13 studies conducted by researchers at University College London found that anxieties over climate change are directly linked to a decreased desire to have children.

The phenomenon of “climate anxiety” has become a recognized issue, particularly among younger generations. It has been the subject of multiple studies and articles, highlighting the existential dread many progressive teens and young adults feel over apocalyptic climate predictions. In response, a specialized branch of psychology has emerged, with “climate-aware” therapists working to help individuals manage the mental health impacts of these fears.

Vice President Harris herself has acknowledged the role of “climate anxiety” in shaping the life decisions of younger generations. Speaking at Reading Area Community College last year, she remarked, “You know, I’ve heard young leaders talk with me about a term they’ve coined, ‘climate anxiety,’ which is fear of the future and the unknown of whether it makes sense for you to even think about having children, whether it makes sense for you to think about aspiring to buy a home because what will this climate be?”

Although Harris has recently distanced herself from some environmentalist positions — such as opposing a fracking ban in Pennsylvania and rejecting an electric vehicle mandate — a policy pursued by the Biden administration — her decision to hire Thorndike suggests she may still be responsive to the more radical climate agenda.

While the Harris campaign has not commented on Thorndike’s past statements, her appointment signals that radical “climate action” will likely remain a priority, even as the campaign navigates politically sensitive issues in key swing states like Pennsylvania.

Declining Population An Existential Issue For Many Countries, Including The U.S.

Earlier this year, studies published by the U.S. federal government that were corroborated by independent data firms found that in just a few decades the population in the United States will plummet if birth rates are not improved within the next few years.

An improving population is how you maintain geopolitical and economic strength, whereas a population in freefall will create an infrastructural disaster for a current world power like the United States.

Current estimates, which can change overtime of course, suggest that the world population will start to decline in just a few short decades. That will be the first time in recorded history. That will create a global economic and infrastructural crisis that will cause poverty and starvation unlike anything the world has ever seen.

These are the consequences of the policies that exist within the Kamala Harris campaign. America can’t afford those policies to be made into laws and rules, especially not the anti-natalist ones like Camila Thorndike believes in.
