Kristi Noem completely lit up a CBS anchor for making this critical mistake

The mainstream media should be in the business of reporting facts. It rarely happens that way.

And now Kristi Noem completely lit up a CBS anchor for making this critical mistake.

Noem Addresses Doxxing Concerns During CBS Interview

During her January 18, appearance on CBS’s Face The Nation, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem responded to host Margaret Brennan’s mention of ICE officer Jonathan Ross by name in connection with the January 7 Minneapolis shooting incident.

Brennan said, “Let me talk to you about the officer, Jonathan Ross, he was struck, he was hospitalized,” to which Noem replied:

“Well don’t say his name, I mean, for heaven’s sakes, we shouldn’t have people continue to dox law enforcement when they have an 8,000 percent increase in death threats against them.”

Noem explained that Ross had been hospitalized following an incident in which he was struck by a vehicle, and that his family had subsequently faced threats, forcing them into hiding.

She stated: “He got attacked with a car that was trying to take his life, and then people have attacked him and his family, and they are in jeopardy, and we have law enforcement officers every day who are getting death threats, getting attacked at their hotels, and they’re getting ice thrown at them.”

She added that the officer had acted in accordance with his training to protect himself and others, and noted a reported increase in instances of vehicles being used as weapons against law enforcement.

Context of Rising Threats to ICE Personnel

Noem highlighted broader security concerns for ICE agents, referencing a recent DHS report that documented an 8,000 percent increase in death threats against personnel.

She described additional challenges, including attacks at hotels and other incidents, and expressed hope that such tactics would not become more common.

Call for Local Cooperation

Noem urged Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey to work with the Trump administration to maintain public safety while respecting First Amendment protections for protesters.

The interview took place amid ongoing ICE operations in Minnesota and related demonstrations in the Twin Cities following the January 7 incident.

A YouGov poll conducted around the same time indicated that 53% of respondents believed the officer should face charges in connection with the shooting.
