Leaked Pentagon report on Area 51 is making all hell break loose

Wild theories have been spun about what happens at Area 51. You won’t believe the actual answer.

Because a leaked Pentagon report on Area 51 is making all hell break loose.

Pentagon’s Disinformation Campaign at Area 51

A 2024 Department of Defense (DOD) report revealed that the Pentagon intentionally fueled UFO conspiracy theories to conceal secret weapons programs, particularly at Area 51 in Nevada.

In the 1980s, an Air Force colonel, on official orders, provided fabricated photos of flying saucers to a bar owner near Area 51, according to a Wall Street Journal review of the report.

The now-retired colonel admitted to Pentagon investigators that this was done to spread disinformation, masking the development of the F-117 Nighthawk stealth warplane during the Cold War.

The strategy leveraged Area 51’s UFO mythology to divert attention from military activities and protect sensitive technology from Soviet surveillance.

“#USNORTHCOM can confirm that elements of the 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team from the California National Guard have begun deploying to the Los Angeles area, with some already on the ground. Additional information will be provided as units are identified and deployed,” Northern Command posted on X.

Military’s Use of UFO Myths to Hide Projects

The 2024 report detailed multiple instances where the U.S. military exploited UFO narratives to obscure classified projects. One example involved the Air Force conducting fake “Yankee Blue” briefings, falsely claiming the unit investigated alien aircraft.

These briefings, which continued into 2023, included orders to never discuss the information, leaving many service members unaware it was a hoax. The DOD issued an order in 2023 to halt this practice, though the purpose—potentially a loyalty test or further disinformation—remains unclear.

The report also noted other undisclosed military efforts to use conspiracy theories as cover for secret projects.

“Great job by the National Guard in Los Angeles after two days of violence, clashes and unrest. We have an incompetent Governor (Newscum) and Mayor (Bass) who were, as usual (just look at how they handled the fires, and now their VERY SLOW PERMITTING disaster. Federal permitting is complete!), unable to to handle the task,” the president said.

“These Radical Left protests, by instigators and often paid troublemakers, will NOT BE TOLERATED. Also, from now on, MASKS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to be worn at protests. What do these people have to hide, and why??? Again, thank you to the National Guard for a job well done!” he added.

Misinformation and Unexplained Incidents

Sean Kirkpatrick, the first director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) established in 2022, uncovered several Pentagon-linked UFO conspiracy theories during his investigation.

In one case, former Air Force captain Robert Salas reported a 1967 incident at a Montana nuclear missile site where a flashing light disabled 10 missiles and electrical systems. Ordered to remain silent, Salas believed he witnessed alien activity.

Kirkpatrick’s team found this was actually a test of an electromagnetic pulse to assess silo resilience against Soviet attacks, a failure the military chose to conceal by allowing witnesses to draw their own conclusions.

The DOD stated it will release a second volume of AARO’s findings later this year, promising greater transparency.

“The @DeptofDefense is mobilizing the National Guard IMMEDIATELY to support federal law enforcement in Los Angeles. And, if violence continues, active duty Marines at Camp Pendleton will also be mobilized — they are on high alert,” Hegseth said.

“The department is committed to releasing a second volume of its Historical Record Report, to include AARO’s findings on reports of potential pranks and inauthentic materials,” the DOD said in a statement.
