Medical emergency sends the Trump family into total chaos

Donald Trump has been eyeing the White House since 2021. But that all just changed.

Because a medical emergency sent the Trump family into total chaos.

Former President Donald Trump informed attendees at his New Year’s Eve party on Sunday that former First Lady Melania Trump was not there because she was caring for her mother, who is “very ill.”

Trump stated that his mother-in-law, Amalija Knavs, 78, is not doing well.

“It’s a tough one, a very tough one,” stated the former president.

He also told guests at his holiday party that he had just called his wife, who was in Miami with Knavs at the hospital.

The event took place in Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

“Hopefully, she’ll be recovering,” he added of Melania Trump.

While Melania Trump is unable to attend, she “sends her love” to everyone, according to the former president.

“She knows about 95% of the people in this room,” he said.

According to a source close to the former first lady, “Melania has always been very devoted to her entire family.”

“It should be no surprise that she spent this Christmas with her ailing mother,” said the source.

Her absence from the celebration adds to the former president’s wife’s enigmatic persona, who appears to live a more secluded life.

Melania Trump has been significantly absent from public events during the 2024 campaign season, for which Trump announced his candidacy more than a year ago.

In September, Trump was asked when his wife would be joining him. He claimed she would be on the trail “pretty soon. When it’s appropriate, but pretty soon.”

“She’s a private person, a great person, a very confident person, and she loves our country very much,” he said on Meet the Press on NBC News.

Further, he explained, “I like to keep her away from it. It’s so nasty and so mean.”

Trump leads his opponents by double digits with less than two weeks until the first Republican presidential nomination contest in Iowa, and is considered as the increasingly likely choice for the GOP nominee in 2024.
