Kamala Harris’s 60 Minutes interview was horrendous. But there’s more to the story.

Megyn Kelly Criticizes CBS News Over Kamala Harris Interview Editing
On her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly called out CBS News for what she described as a whitewash of Vice President Kamala Harris’s responses during her recent interview with 60 Minutes. The scrutiny follows Harris’s appearance on the show, which was part of her campaign’s effort to address criticism over her shifting stances on various Left-wing policies.
Kelly pointed out a significant discrepancy between the edited version of Harris’s interview released on X and the full version available on YouTube, particularly concerning her comments about the Israel-Hamas conflict. “It turns out we should have been even more attentive to what 60 had done to that interview,” Kelly noted. “It was very obviously edited… It was a pretty shocking scrubbing of a word salad answer by Kamala Harris.”
She elaborated on how CBS crafted a quick Q&A segment that included Harris’s convoluted answer to a question regarding whether Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was listening to the Biden-Harris administration. “They’re like, ‘Yeah that’s our girl look at her. She’s saying tough things,’” Kelly remarked, indicating that the network’s liberal bias may have clouded their judgment regarding the implications of airing Harris’s original response.
Online users quickly criticized the edited version on X for its portrayal of Harris’s faltering response, prompting CBS to air a “cleaner” version of her comments during the full interview. “So by the time they aired the interview in full on Monday night they had cleaned up the answer… It was no longer a salad, it was just one green pepper that you could understand and eat easily,” Kelly quipped.
In the original clip, Harris responded to CBS host Bill Whitaker, asserting that Netanyahu had not been “listening to the Biden-Harris administration.” She stumbled over her words while explaining the administration’s advocacy for necessary changes in the region. However, the edited YouTube version presented a more straightforward statement: “We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.”
Kelly did not hold back her criticism, saying, “Oh my God. I mean you see what they did don’t you? It’s so nakedly partisan and desperate to save her.” She concluded that CBS was “running cover for Kamala Harris” and expressed disbelief that they proceeded with the editing after initially releasing the teaser.
In response to the controversy, Harris’s campaign told Variety, “We do not control CBS’s production decisions and refer questions to CBS.”
Kamala Harris Campaign Just Keeps Sinking… Is She Done For?
After this 60 Minutes interview, it was reported that Kamala Harris wanted to finally agree to a debate with Donald Trump hosted by Fox News. She previously said that she would never go on Fox News for a debate because she and her team thought it would be unfair, even though Donald Trump has agreed to debates on CNN as well as ABC.
Some independent reporters and political strategists are suggesting this could be because the Kamala Harris campaign is worried about being obliterated at the ballot box on November 5th. She’s looking for any outlet to turn her fortunes around, including a potential debate with Donald Trump. Donald Trump did not agree to the debate, saying the American people already know the two candidates.
This being the case, Kamala Harris is in trouble. The betting markets have been selling off Kamala Harris, indicating more and more people believe she is losing her fight in this race. On PredictIt, she’s lost ground and now Donald Trump is the one pulling ahead with a lead in the eyes of those putting their money in the ring to predict who will win. Polymarket is even worse for Kamala.

Not only this, but polls out of Pennsylvania are getting worse for Kamala. In 2016 and in 2020, the polls for Pennsylvania underestimated how well Trump would do on election day. Those same polls are saying Trump is ahead this election cycle, meaning Kamala Harris would be virtually done for if the same thing happened where he outperforms expectations.
Panic is setting in for the Democrats, as their worst nightmare just might be coming true. They only have themselves to blame if Kamala loses, though. They staged a coup against the sitting U.S. president and thought a California radical prosecutor would give them an easy win. That’s just foolish thinking.
