Attorney General Merrick Garland revealed that he is “worried” every day about a prospective terrorist strike on the United States, warning that the threat level “has gone up enormously” since October 7.
Garland expressed his concerns Tuesday when asked by the House Judiciary Committee if the millions of migrants entering the country as a result of President Biden’s failed border policies posed a greater threat.
“I am worried about the possibility of a terrorist attack in the country after October 7. The threat level for us has gone up enormously,” he testified.
“Every morning, we worry about this question. We try to track anyone who might be trying to hurt the country.”
“Of course, this is a major priority for the Justice Department,” he added.
FBI Director Christopher Wray issued a similar warning hours earlier, telling a subcommittee of the Senate Appropriations Committee he’d be “hard-pressed to think of a time where so many threats to our public safety and national security were so elevated all at once,” according to CBS News.
Wray told Congress on Tuesday that the current crisis in Gaza has escalated threats against the U.S. to “a whole ‘nother level,” with antisemitism and hate crimes on the rise.
According to Axios, Garland later admitted the “terrible explosion of antisemitic threats” that has occurred since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war.
But he also made sure to give a nod to the woke mob by saying the Muslims have it bad too.
“Also anti-Arab, anti-Muslim threats in this country that make all of these communities afraid,” he said.
“We regard it as an important element of our civil rights work to deter and to investigate and to prosecute and to stop these threats.”

House Republicans have highlighted the massive increase of Border Patrol encounters with individuals on the terror watch list.
Since the beginning of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021, over 350 persons on the terrorist watchlist have been caught attempting to illegally cross our Southwest border between ports of entry, representing a more than 2,000 percent increase over FY2017-2020.
You read that right – a 2,000 percent increase in crossings by suspected terrorists has happened under Joe Biden compared to Trump’s presidency.
Individuals from over 160 nations have been captured unlawfully crossing the border, including those from countries on the State Sponsors of Terrorism list.
How can Garland and others in Biden’s White House tell us that they care about preventing attacks when they’re doing everything in their power to facilitate them.
