The Left knows that Biden’s chance of winning re-election is slim to none. But who they want in his place will make your head spin.
And Mike Huckabee exposed Democrats’ plan to replace Joe Biden.
Joe Biden and the Democrats are up against the wall as strong, America-First conservatives lead the Republican primary.
Both Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis are currently beating Joe Biden in a head-to-head match-up according to poll aggregator RealClearPolitics.
The same agency has Joe Biden’s approval at a dismal average of 39.3%.
This along with concerns over his ability to function and lead properly as he ages into his 80s have made many Democrats question whether he should be the nominee.
And Mike Huckabee, the former Republican governor of Arkansas, believes he’s cracked the Democrat code.
Huckabee compared President Joe Biden to a “pack of bottle rockets soaked in water all night.”
Huckabee made the connection when discussing the probability that Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) will be the Democratic nominee in 2024, despite his current decision not to contest Biden.
“Truthfully, [Newsom] deep down knows that Joe Biden is like a pack of bottle rockets that have been soaked in water all night. They’re never going to ignite,” Huckabee said.
“He has to know that the worst thing for the Democratic Party is for Joe Biden to be the nominee.”
Huckabee praised Newsom for recently agreeing to an interview with Sean Hannity, stating that many Democrats would not do so.
Hannity and his guests, who included Huckabee, conservative pundit Charlie Hurt, and Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), recounted how Newsom denied running against Biden while refusing to answer questions about how frequently Democrats encouraged him to oppose the president.
Huckabee expects Biden will face a challenge from a major Democratic figure, such as Newsom, or be asked to “step aside.”
“Joe Biden won’t be the nominee, one way or another,” Huckabee said.
“He’ll either be defeated, or somebody will convince him it’s time to step aside, go to Delaware, drive the Corvette, and go through all those boxes of classified materials that he kept.”
Hurt and Jackson agreed. Hurt warned that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. should not be forgotten, while Jackson agreed that Newsom was likely to be the next Democratic presidential contender.
“I could see Democrats going with [Newsom] as the consensus, but the real barbarian at the gate would be RFK Jr. I would love to see what he would do to his party,” Hurt said.
